Those spikes are probably worser than lego to step on, when you get up at night,so you maybe should have left these glow-in-the-dark wheels on.Just kidding, great build!!!
Hello I am a new subscriber found you through a Bare Metal Hotwheels shout out. Love your Zombie apocalypse make overs and look forward to both new releases and the older ones I have to catch up on!
Awesome again🙂 Tiny suggestion that I thought of while watching... Perhaps make a crack protruding past some of your patches such as on the spoiler, make it look like it is pieced back together.
You’re the only guy I’ve seen rival baremetalHW in terms of your “Mad Max” custom artistry. You both are wizards in the use of creating rust effects with paint, washes, and powders.
Subbed! You have definitely found your niche. This is artwork for sure and I personally would spend money to have these sitting on my desk! I love how the scale and paint is just wrong and rough yet makes complete sense when finished. I surely hope that this hobby is a means of income for you! Cant wait until you do another.....
Hey Danny, I absolutely love your videos, but the only thing that you could improve on is explaining what you are doing a bit more. For example, at 2:32, when you say "I use some Tamia putty to attach the smaller spikes in front of the windscreen," you could also add why you added them there. Explain a bit more about what you are doing and what effect it gives etc. Also, explaining what wash you use, and what specific effect you are going for by using it is another example Other than that, Everything in your videos is amazing.
wow you put a lot of work into this one, it looks great. Ready for the post apocalypse (otherwise known as Brexit in the UK) zombies, or with that front spoiler post apocalyptic snowfall.
You have inspired me to start doing this as a hobby, your videos and ideas are amazing. Subbed. Mad respect for choosing to use a wacky Hot Wheels original design like this AristoRat. I have a bunch of beaten Hot Wheels from a bulk used lot that could do with a makeover.
What about squares of thick tinfoil cut into squares instead of modelling putty for riveted plates? They would shape to the curve of the body better maybe?
Hey Danny. I like it. Actually I like all your art. I was wondering... would you be interested in doing a couple die casts in Steam Punk? I’m becoming rather infatuated with Steam Punk lately. I’d like to see your interpretation. Either way I really like your channel. And thanks partner.
Yeah i have been thinking about something steampunk for a while now, not really found quite the right idea yet tho. I have a MB train i thought maybe something to work with.
@@DannysDiecastDisasters thank you so much, that helps me so much. I'm new to this whole diecast custom hobby. You guys make it look so easy, thanks for the info and keep up the good work.
This is the perfect way to get a steampunk look as well. Awesome job! Where do you source your materials from to do this one? I'm trying to breathe some life into a customs group. This project is perfect for it. Subbed and will be sharing this video in a couple different diecast groups.
Mostly just stuff from the hobby shop, hardware store and thos little $2 kind of store that sell allsorts of stuff. Cheap costume jewelry is handy. You can get different textured styrene from the hobby shop.
I love every veyclule you make they ar amezing i whant some for me i have plenty of hotwheels to customise but i dont have the tools but i wood love to have these👌😌
I used Kneed It on this one, its really fast setting. Like too hard to work in about 5 - 10 mins. Milliput is another good putty you can smooth it with water and it takes much longer to set.
Great idea with the putty mate
Cool build! That Aristo Rat body is a perfect starting point for a custom or wasteland car.
WOW DANNY EXCELLENT WORK AS ALWAYS ☆☆☆☆☆ KINDA REMINDS ME OF A VEHICLE FROM THAT MOVIE ADVENTURES INTO THE FORBIDDEN ZONE
Those spikes are probably worser than lego to step on, when you get up at night,so you maybe should have left these glow-in-the-dark wheels on.Just kidding, great build!!!
Think this is my favorite of the Post Apocalypse Vehicles!! Great Job Danny

Same.
This is awesome mate! I recently started a Mad Max series but I have so much to learn

Masterful...awesome work! woww!!
Cool. It looks better than before. Thanks
Wow amazing!
Wooww it turned out sick.. love it.. what a change.. love mad max cars.. great custom.. hope to see more... big thumbs up.. :) ;)
Awesome again🙂
Tiny suggestion that I thought of while watching...

Heaps good.
You should do one with like a door missing and replaced witha piece of metal or something
Awesome build!

Looks like ,you work on Mad Max Part Zero...these cars you build are AWESOME!!

Nice technique.

Definitely an improvement in my opinion. Thanx for sharing.
I didn't know hot wheels could get any cooler
Like these vehicle makeovers, but I think the metal plates could be better, they look like Walkers Shortbread.
You made the worst car ever look cool Danny! I have that model and hate it. Great job brother ..
Awesome job. I just did some post apocalyptic vehicles on my channel this week as well.
April fools!
From a fellow builder, that's really nice work, stunning🤘🤘
For the metal plates have you tried using thick aluminum foil instead of the putty. It may make a better looking patch.
Very awesome
Cara você é de mais
Muito bom o seu trabalho
Very cool. Thanks for the tips.
Hmmm... now it's time for you to do the mythic Falcon a.k.a The last of the Interceptors. How about it Danny? 😉
I'm on the lookout for one 👍
That looks amazing!
wow you put a lot of work into this one, it looks great. Ready for the post apocalypse (otherwise known as Brexit in the UK) zombies, or with that front spoiler post apocalyptic snowfall.
Lose the long spikes on the rear otherwise good job.
Really great outcome considering what you started with🤪

Oh so cool I love it
Could you please tell me what kind of putty you're using for the spikes? I couldn't quite make it out on the video. Amazing build!
Tamiya Putty 👍
Amazing Danny fantastic job can we see all the madmax cars together someday please 👍👍👍👍👍👍
What about squares of thick tinfoil cut into squares instead of modelling putty for riveted plates? They would shape to the curve of the body better maybe?
Oh so cool! Way better than that toy car you started with. 9 out of 10 zombies approve!
Awesome custom job. You should totally do a bone shaker apocalypse car. I bet you could make it look amazing, just a thought
I wonder what a Danny version of Chumbucket's buggy would look like?
That's excellent , way better then the original.
All the best
Hi sorry for the questiom, what kind of paint do You use? Thanks You for sharing.
Mostly Vallejo brand paints.
Keep going with the zombie series. It is great. Love how you did the tires!
Just the job for popping to the shops!
I absolutely love you weathering tech. Iv been doing a bit over the years but you make it look easy. Great videos and I can’t wait to see more.

Oh man. A Steam Train Engine would be perfect hoss.
can u make one out of a volkswagen beetle? the older model
What a great looking model! You have really mastered the Mad Max look to the Hot Wheels cars.
This is brilliant. Well done - again.
Only suggestion is to fix your focus. Everything else is great!!
Wow. Excellent work. You are a true artist.
Would consider selling this Zombie car, I have a store and would love to show things like this in my display case?

Very creative mind set, this looks like it would be a blast.👍😎

Cool Mad Max killing machine . Mike Espo , new sub today.
am I the only one who watched this @ lunchtime and thought the patches looked like saltines ? 🤣
nice work Danny ...thumbs up
🧡
Close, I was thinking hard tack due to the irregular shape and the holes.
Fantastic
Good job, cool, I made a Pussycat car
Sweet ride
Hello, I'm a new subscriber and I was wondering what size drill bit do you use for your posts. Thanks for any input, and you have awesome videos.
I'm usually using a 4mm one to drill out the rivets, and a 1.7mm one to drill them out for tapping if I'm going to do that 👍
@@DannysDiecastDisasters I'm sorry, I don't know my metrics system, can you convert that to fractions. Is it like 9/64" for the posts?
4mm is 5/32, 1.7mm is 1/16. Its not so important the exact size of the larger drill bit, as long as it a little wider than the rivet post.
@@DannysDiecastDisasters thank you so much, that helps me so much. I'm new to this whole diecast custom hobby. You guys make it look so easy, thanks for the info and keep up the good work.
Is the rust paint you use just orange ink?
Another great build man. Thanx for sharing.
oooh, boxer powered mad max buggy? yes please! Also, in the future will you take paid commissions?
My email is in the about section, you need to look on a browser rather than the app 👍
Buen trabajo.

Matt clear coat
Would you be willing to sell any of your cars
He went as far as to do armor for the axle

Love the look of the Aristo pursuit car, ready to do some zombie hunting on the wasteland, good to go with this project.
Wow
that is so bad ass!
Baremetalhw brought me here, this is a really cool channel, also I got you a new sub.
where did you get the chain ???
I just use cheap costume jewelry. Costs a couple of bucks for a necklace etc, you can find all different types of chain.
Nice model and all that, but can you make the commentary a bit more interesting please? It makes me want to watch with the sound off!
Muy hermoso 💚
great comments
cool mad max machine
Gotta do an ode to the beast vehicle that speaker truck in mad max.
do you go in with a plan or do you just wing it as you work on it
I have a plan generally. You kind of need to plan what your going to do and how you will paint it, especially with bigger builds like the trucks.
@@DannysDiecastDisasters loved that truck with the tank

what type of putty
I used Kneed It on this one, its really fast setting. Like too hard to work in about 5 - 10 mins. Milliput is another good putty you can smooth it with water and it takes much longer to set.
I have an Aristo Rat too (it's blue)
