Very cool! You should make the original mad max interseptor
The animal - That would be superb. HW do produce a very nice '73 Ford Falcon XB, in both normal series, and the 'Forza' series, which has rubber tyres. I have three different ones - but I like them too much to muck about with them: and they're quite difficult to obtain here in the UK, without spending a lot of money.
I picked up one of the '73's and made it to look like the Interceptor. Quite a bit of work. I credit baremetalHW with getting me inspired and thank him for the tips. I am even getting into building diorama's thanks to a lot of info here on you tube. Really enjoyed this vid! I would also like to see baremetalHW do one of the interceptors or other cult movie cars.
brianartillery that 73 XB is a peg warmer , all the other forza cars sold out fast except that one
Atle Grønsund crikey!!! you beat me to it, I was going to say the same thing, I have the 73 Ford Falcon XB in front of me
trying to save the best for last...
That first truck is kinda ugly due to the grill, you saved it!
Now that is one cool monster truck! Great work👻
GHOSTJERKER cool to c u hear i watch u a lot of the time...
I love your vids u are the beast to keep up the good work
GHOSTJERKER u are the beast cool
GHOSTJERKER it is a good monster truck
Hi!
the detail work and patience is downright amazing, a fucking a. btw i found ur channel randomly i had no idea this was a legit hobby
El Banter I'm into scale RC builds so this hobby is right down my alley!
@@pmm4177 cool!
Very cool yet I didn't care for the exhaust. I would've made pipes come straight out of the hood vertically. The way you had to cut the pipes makes it look like a V6.
Though this is a collaborative work, you put 90% perspiration and 100% inspiration! Dye cast work given to u was ... not to be rude, was just crude. Ur artistic mind made it worthwhile otherwise which was shoddy stuff to begin with. Pls collaborate with someone with skills of ur level n metel !
I hate to be rude but I think he could have delivered you a much more workable piece. He definitely got the long end of the stick on this colab. It looks like either he is very untalented or didn't take the project very serious.
what about a post apocalyptic tanker
Just awesome, great attention to detail !
Awesome work!! All that detail!!
I love your channel, I don't collect matchbox or hot wheels cars (but had a ton growing up) but I still love your channel. Your videos are very well done, and you do great commentary. This custom build was amazing! I love your Mad Max builds! Next up War Rig? Or the Nux Car! Haha I'm sure you get that a lot, anyways looking forward to your next video.
this one it's probably one of the best customs I've seen so far
I See you listen to good music
wow your attention to detail is monstrous. Excellent
I think you should make the War Rig.
On my modelling bench I always had a bottle of wash made from a 1:1 mix of Citadel's Nuln Oil and Seraphim Sepia. I called the mix "Engine Grease" and would liberally apply it to anything mechanical. Give it a try and see what you think. Keep up the great videos!
Great video, makes me want to paint my 15mm post apocalypse figures and build them lotsa vehicles.
THAT... IS... AWESOME! Wow, great work!
Love it!! I wouldn't change a damn thing!!
Awesome video man. I know the time it takes to edit a video like this. Thumbs up to sic diecast too 👍🏽
One of my favorite new movies, I thought it needed some hot wheels. I was thinking about using your videos to try customizing a monster truck. Also would you ever customizing a hot wheels motorcycle on video?
Probably my favourite video by you yet, amazing work by both of you guys!
I'm glad I WITNESSED! ... this video.
Wow, this has to be one of the best Mad Max, AND overall custom you've posted on here. And when you gut into the front it really gave a lot of depth to the model. This is one of those where I'd love to see a not Mad Max version of this without the harpoon and all nice and showroom shiny. Great Job!
great custom build love how it turned out I would definitely use that truck if I got put in mad max
Wow what a great custom by to great guys!!! Awesome vid as always !!!
Damn brother, watching your work never gets old!! I'm into scale RC builds and they require patients and detail work I'm not sure I have a steady enough hand or a good enough eye to do what you do. keep it up man, I love watching these videos! my 8 and 5 year old boys have tons of hot wheels, when they beat a few of them up I believe I might practice a bit with them. thanks for the cool build videos!
What is name of colours what he used???
i love your attention to detail and my favorite part is the bed and harpoon and what you did with the tires.
stack those exhausts!!! No way a v6 would be in the mad max world in that truck.
sure it would, they would use anything they had to throw vehicles together
By my deeds, I honor him... V8!
Faster The Dragster v8 not v6!
DawAl Gaming In all fairness, a lot of guys have a problem telling a 6 from an 8.
Actually one of my mates worked building the vehicles for Fury Road and they did use a few v6's.
And in the movie they might be split into 3 pipes on each side instead of 4.
would've been nice if you would have finished max mad max #5 first
Sorry... I will get it done..
baremetalHW will we ever see it? 😉
Amazing job once again!
i would like to say that i love your content but ide like to make a video request. i would like to see a video where you assemble a model car. thank you!
I wish I had this truck in REAL LIFE, a real life human scaled model that I could drive to HIGH SCHOOL and do burn outs when my prinicipal would ask me sarcastically if I had done my homework.
This is amazing, all this custom details, and on such an old body!
I'm not a huge fan of the exhaust. It suggests a V6 and it seems something this awesome would have a V8 at least. Also, that location on a real vehicle would destroy any suspension travel for the front tires. The exhaust would be destroyed on any jump or obstacles that would require suspension articulation... Also, if you're gonna keep the exhaust, they should be coated in dirt/mud too as that exposed location right over the tires would cause them to catch a lot of slung material. Super awesome otherwise!
Sean Seilheimer I agree bro, I would've taken the cut off one and just stacked it atop the first and second pipes, after all, it's a mad max truck, anything is acceptable. 2 rows of 4 short stacks straight through the hood would've looked pretty good too!
pmm4177 old flat head ford v8s only had three exhaust on each side. just imagine it's an old flat head v8.
Another awesome project! Hope to see more like this in the future!
I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now and every time you do a project like this I'm blown away. I've never customized 1/64 cars before, usually I just stick to 1/24 car kits and HO trains but I always consider giving it a shot after seeing all the work you have done. You have a great attention to detail as well as a lot of patience to be able to work with all of those tiny parts (I often get frustrated trying to apply small parts and details to my models). Again, excellent job and keep it up, I look forward to seeing your future projects.
Thanks! the small parts can defiantly be a pain!
Amazing.
this is so sick, by far my favorite creation from you yet
voce é o cara
AHHHHH!! THIS IS SO COOL.
Brilliant! Very skillful. Such attention to detail. Great job, well done. Thanks for sharing 😃
That tooling looks like a 41 Willys
Redstone11 GD Would have been easier to use a Blacksmith or Captains Curse and modified it!!
Gearhead 6971 Yeah, They Look Just The Same.
You should do a kool kombi mad max custom
ur work is amazing, I am big fan and I'm starting a mad max series of my own thanks to your inspirational creations
Have you made a war rig yet?

The truck looks like it's Been burned :)
I loved the video the truck was awsome no offence but the thumbnail looked better then the finnished item
is it just me or does it look like the truck from jeepers creepers as well except this one has big ass wheels . where the guy uses the spear on the back to reel jeepers creepers in.
I know you've probably read this a million times but. Try panel lining markers For gundam kits and such. you wouldn't have to risk cutting into the panel lines as it's just a marker and is easily wiped off. Those old lead pencils work too. (the kind you need to refill)
It's amazing!
Very Nice! i'd just put something on the inside of the wheels, so you can't look inside the wheels from inward. Ruins the immersion a bit in my opinion. Very cool Though!
AwesomeJobToTheBothOfYou!AGreatColaberationInTheHobby
Excellent truck! I'd have used the HW '52 Chevy - but I'm lazy. Matchbox make a very cool '55 Ford panel delivery - it would be great to see one of them 'Maxed' up. Lots of body area to ding up on it, and a really mean looking front end. Did you knock your spiky Mad Max vehicle project on the head? I was really looking forward to see how it would turn out.
Very creative and always informative. I have never thought of doing a Monster Truck but have done truck transformation using a HW 62 Chevy custom and make them into a 60 Ford truck a few times for friend. Here's one I completed:

Parabéns pela customização!
baremetalHW - Although I build custom 1:64th monster trucks, I've never made anything from Mad Max. I use Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks for the chassis, with the black plastic cage removed, then I cut off the engine, seat, and fuel tank, leaving only a flat-top base. It's an excellent platform to start from, plus with a little gentle twisting the wheels can be removed (by gentle I mean pulling like crazy). I only use 1950's to 1970's truck bodies, and I make them look as realistic as possible by cutting and sectioning the chassis to fit the length of each truck. I know how much effort this hobby takes, and you definately were being modest about the amount of time you spent tinkering with those little details. You did great, that harpoon is especially a gem. Thanks for the vids!
Thanks Janson!! I will give your process a try!!
That was a bad ass video. Thank you very much. Only one suggestion. It needs more RUST! ;) Seriously, this is certainly one of your best videos. I appreciated the customization work with the Dremel and the various things you did to bring the build together.
This is my favourite, total monster truck fan regardless and again a brilliant build with great walk through commentary and descriptions. Not actually a huge mad max fan though have obviously watched the films. The creations are amazing really cool . 10/10
Can you make a video about converting a normal hot wheels car to a redline that would be cool. It would look good on a super car hot wheel
It came out really well my only criticism is the fact that you used V6 Headers (exhaust) on a V8. For as much detail and authenticity as you tried to keep to based on the original. This part got overlooked. But again, great job.
Can someone please tell me the brand and type of modeling putty that I can use to fill in holes and gaps on a die-cast car?
Edit: Just learned the answer. Thank you.
what i didnt like? Dude its perfect!
Bogdan Stojanovic dude perfect
if you're looking for an *_action pose_* some hot glue molded, needle sculpted flames piped into the exhaust and then airbrushed would do nicely
I’m sorry but I have to say this, WHY THE Блядь WOULD U RUIN A MODEL A OR T DIECAST
Absolutely outstanding. However, I was hoping you would incorporate the surfer dude onto the bed of the truck. Hehe
Like watching your videos. I would like to know what monster truck sicdiecast used for the mad max #6. Keep up the great work
I have no idea why your videos were reccomended to me, but by jove you've got me interested. How do you remove the rivets on these things? I've tried to customize Hot Wheels before, but the rivets are always a sticking point for me. Are there forums or subreddits for this kind of thing?
I have a 1993 hot wheels demon car in a red package I found cleaning out my attic after some renters got evicted. How do I find out if it’s worth anything?
You did a great job on this truck. You should do his police car like some other people have said. The interceptor I guess is what it was called?. That thing was crazy cool!.
you shouldve just used a hotwheels monster jam diecast for the base, because matchbox superchrgers arent easy to come across
Damn now that’s a epic move truck I would love if u can make Mad Max’s Ford Falcon or Interceptor the black on black then we will be talking
i know how you love doing 1/64 but would you consider doing a larger scale? With the amount of detail you put in they would look amazing
Oh yeah, and you'd have to alter the base so all four wheels can move up and down independently. Tricky, but do-able..
I dont know why i watch this series, its not my hobby, but i absolutely love them. Really good job, its awakened the child within me. I am going to look at a flea market on sunday for some old hotwheels...see what ya did!
You can take the matchbox monster wheels off. They're on a small metal rod axel. Carefully pulling the wheels in opposite directions, and an ocational twist to loosen the metal rod and they'll come off. Used to customize these all the time as a kid and got really good at taking them apart.
very cool
Would have it been possible to use some glue from the hot glue gun as "glass" for the head lights? Or would they look too foggy? Can one sand/shape and polish the dry glue to mimic the glass of a headlight? If so, can you then hit it with translucent red or yellow for use in tail lights and turn signals?
Great little truck. I'm surprised no one has said anything about the v6 lol. That a tiny motor to move such a big truck !
this is amazing and just to let you know that I know the driver of the monster truck and i will show him this video
go to his facebook page Monster trucks w.a: facebook.com/monstertruckswa/
hi i like theese kinda cars. i'd like to se if you can make "barnfind" cars and make some tooned cars kinda zingers. perhaps big engines in/on european cars-kinda mad max/dirt cars.
What is that metal cutting Dremel but? I've been looking for something like that for SO long!
Can’t you use that metallic paint for your redline restorations???
Nice and cool monster truck I liked the gun 🔫🔫🔥🔥🔥 I love the gun
have you ever thought a about doing an import custom or doing a widebody with epoxy putty like making the fender flares and stuff like that
It's a V6 should had been a V8 (you can tell by the pipes, also the front air intake should have never been cut but coming out of the hood
Hey if I could say. Just buy a $5 monster truck and drill out the post and take the plastic chassis and metal car off and cut off the wheels of any other hot wheel/matchbox and put the car evenly on the monster truck frame and drill the car on to it from underneath the drilled out post of the monster truck
AWSOME MAN!Looks like the bigfoot from mad max fury road.
You would be better off with an actual hotwheels monster truck body for the added realism and piping of the underchassis
for added realism, when you apply rust, shouldn't you go over panel lines for things like the doors? loving the series
looks really good, the paint on the wheels still looks very uniform but very good build
can you just meet peek racing time guy and show your mad max custom car for track test? if you like my suggestion comment and like ;)
hey baremetalHW that looks awesome please go to my new video and cast your vote for camaro z28 or vw gulf and tell me how the porche looks
MAKE A old FORD mustang hot wheels into a truck with the coupe
Try aluminium tig welding rods for bars. Call in to a fabrication shop and ask for one or 2 rods. Quite long so will last a while
Mad max? Look like a the hunter jepper krepper truck 😂😂😂. But loock nice
your the best I will subcride
Proceeds to do 90% of the work, "Thanks for the help Sic Diecast".
the exhausts would be the first to lose their chrome as they are exposed to very high temperatures. in future, put more blackening on the exhausts
Tamiya powders? Could use eyeshadow as substitute.
