I started Lefthanded Booksellers over a year ago and still haven't finished it, but I think I was going through a slump at the time. I need to give it another go, because I like Garth Nix.
I added Deepwood Witches Mysteries to my TBR. I already have A Bakeshop Mystery on my TBR, but you make me want to pick it up now! You have finished so many series!!! I'm buzzing for you! 🤣 This might be a stupid question, but how do you go about finding indie published authors/books? I usually get my recommendations from booktubers, but is there a more pointed way to seek out those books?
Not a stupid question at all, I'm the same as you and take alot of reccomendations from other booktubers but then I also think twitter is a great place to find indie authors. If there's a few you follow they then promote other indie authors you might want to try and you can follow small presses who put out indie books and authors are pretty good over there at reaching out to you also and trying to follow reviewers. I actually took a big break from twitter and ended up going back because I felt like there wasn't another platform that was bringing me and authors together quite aswell as that but I appreciate that may not be for everyone. There's a few big readalongs that happen also there's the Indie accords and then indie August aswell where there are so many great recs going about :)
@@BookTubewithAmy Thank you for the tips! I've had a hard time getting into Twitter, but I might have to see about following some authors. It may peek my interest! I will definitely pay more attention when indie readathons happen!
You are crushing it on progress with series, don't minimize how much you've progressed at things and finishes to boot!
Thank you 😊 🩷
