Thank you for the no BS review !!! So much quicker and easily absorbed than the manual! The battery lid on my helmet self destructed on day one , but that´s a minor inconvenience . The headband and it´s adjustments are a lot better than on my Stanley helmet , but on the other hand the helmet is heavier...... For an amateur like myself I guess I can live with that. I just bought one today from Lidl UK @£24.99 and it is quite a good value in my opinion. Good review, and I like that you compared it to your fathers. My other helmet is nearly 40 years old and is a lot heavier than this new Lidl one, so a vast improvement for me.
