Something to note. As disc on heroic rag in 10 man ive found a combo of short fiend and surge of light helps immensely with mana and makes you incredible at triage healing.
Rag is the best fight for short fiend in the tier. If you use fiend properly short fiend will usually get you from 2 to 3 total uses. the only other fight long enough to warrant it imo is domo but on domo oure using so much atonement that you shouldnt have mana problems before enrage.
Can this logic still be applied to 10-man hc? Also, for Disc, would the focus toward more tank healing change the stat prio? Currently running Crit>Mastery>Haste.
If you get to 135+ stacks on baleroc you can just perma tank heal but penancing right before vital flame falls off. Shield straight after, then just attone heal your tanks makes it extrmely easy
Yeah, you can sometimes greed some stacks between tankbusters but usually the stacks from the first two soaks are enough for the whole fight. The penance tech is also really useful.
Sorry for my slow brain. For Disc Priest: If my guild runs have a resto shaman then it's okay to take points out of Inspiration? Or do I still want it for those heavy single target damage fights regardless of having a resto shaman or not?
We don’t really have a use for it this tier. In t11 it was nice for crackles on nef. Yes there’s time in fl it works but nothing requires it due to a very large raid hit.
whats the point in blessed life for hpal for? im reading it as only procs during direct damage so that means aoe wouldnt proc it? currently have that point in 1/2 judgement.
It procs randomly off some aoe raid damage. Not a lot procs it in t12 but in t11 a few things procced it. Theres really nothing else of value to put the point in.
Really nice video. To the point, easy to find the section that you want. Not a fan of the click bait title but can't really blame you for playing the algorithm game 😂
Do you not have duel spec? Because you most definitely can. And you don’t need to respec for infernals at all. If there a challenge for you then the raid builds are probably not being run cause your not raiding yet.
checking this out because my alt is disc - is disc > holy on Baleroc still? That's the fight i'm most concerned about, are we spamming flash heal to build stacks or heal?
I was reading old conversations on disc healing baleroc and there was a substantial increase to suggesting holy over disc compared to the past few tiers but also good points like penance counts as 3 direct heals on the soaker
Penance only counts the initial tick sadly. Best tech is just flash and shield after last hardcast before stacks falloff. Penance also snapshots so when your vital flame is about to fall off you can clip it.
Have a shadow priest soak the first crystal and penance him at 4 stacks, 14 stacks and 24 stacks (penance glyphed for 10 sec cd penance). This and keep spamming flash heal, shield and PoM on cooldown. This should give you 65+ stacks after the first crystal at bare minimum if you do it correctly.
I'm a disc priest and I made the change at the end of last phase to be a bubble bot for raiding. I'm a 31/10/0 build and do not have any points in evangelism or atonement and add two points train of thought and two points in surge of light instead. Basically those two talent points helps conserve mana quite a bit since most of my main healing focus comes from Greater Heal, and still trying to get used to flash healing on surge of light procs. POW:S crushes meters by spamming heal to lower weakened soul quickly and using greater healer when needed on main tank AND off tank. In essence you're giving the tanks additional hp at all times (also not allowing other healers to heal them =P). There are some fights like Shannox where during the face rage's just throwing a bubble on that target makes life so much easier for healers. Been loving the change and if you're the only disc priest in the guild raid then I'm sure you'll be rocking charts with this build. Happy I switched end of last phase to try this out and it's been working out very well so far.
If i played this way I would take renew talents and glyph, sit in inner will, and press renew between PWS with the haste buff from borrowed time. I dont think its the highest throughput playstyle but its something ive been meaning to mess around with just to have fun experimenting. Renew crits giving DA shields is pretty strong.
@@doublezug7193 Ahh now we're getting into the nitty gritty. I tried and considered improved renew instead of of surge of light just for that reason. I ended up cycling out of it thought since I found spamming heal/greater heal to be more beneficial. I catch myself just primarily healing only the tanks, and then throwing bubbles on the rest of the raid that needs it for quick protection while other healers tops off during their raid heal cycles. We benefit from our 2 piece tier sets specifically from heal and the rest of our other direct heals from the new tier sets unlike renew. If you do try this spec more and it benefits you I would love to know. Anything other than smite spamming raid content and going against the grain is always worth listening to.
@@RudigguerC for my build i do int>haste=mastery. Just remember I'm a bubble bot so my main rotation involves constantly keeping power word: shield up on tanks with the use of strength of soul talent.
One thing I forgot to mention for Hpriest: you can drop points in mental agility for short fiend for the baleroc build.
or u can drop spirit of redemption ...
Very nice tips, Master Healer!
Gotta go change the talents for all three of my healer chars.

if you have an rsham or a hpriest its usually pretty safe to drop inspiration
Glyph of divine protection is also good for hpal. 40% magic damage reduction instead of crusader strike.

Yeah, clickbait works unfortunately.
for holy paladin i go 2/3 in Rule of law for 10% crit chance and one in pursuit of justice
what sucks is how you can't have 2 builds of the same spec. this will get expensive if you're swapping out builds for raid and infernos.
? I have 2 feral specs on my Druid, so why can’t u have 2 same spec builds
