February 22 is International Stand Up to Bullying Day! 🧡
A survey conducted by The American Osteopathic Association concluded that adults are bullied at similar rates to adolescents, and the health consequences are severe. The survey concluded that that bullying and harassing actions have become more flagrant in recent years, starting with the Trumpian era.
Bullies operate everywhere and can be bosses, professors, colleagues or grown children. If you are a victim of adult bullying, it is crucial to stand up for yourself and take action. Reach out to trusted professionals to report the incidents and seek help. If you're a witness to bullying, speak up and make sure you make it known that the behavior is unacceptable.
