Thank you for clarifying some of the mechanics for this weapon... Building it did not feel straightforward and I couldn't figure out why the grenade wasn't landing sometimes (too long after reload).

Wow, I had no idea that this weapon was so.. messed up. I really liked using it at one point. I feel like... Multishot should affect the nade. Having to build differently for two attacks of a weapon is whack. You should be able to hold the empty mag indefinitely and get the full boost when you choose to unleash it. Punch Through should affect the beam (and add the base amount back). I don't see why this would be a problem? The mechanical weirdness/inconsistencies of the weapon is not worth any "power creep" (which is basically an Embolyst with a grenade) it could prevent.
DE could just tie the actual refill of the magazine to the start of the throw animation and remove the silly invisible undocumented timer mechanic. Either way, if I want beams and explosions at this point I'll just run my gammacor.
wouldnt it be better to use hollow point target cracker and sharpened bullets to get mad crit damage multi and sourcing elementals from skills like thermal transfer or nourish.
This is one of the more frustrating things with wf. This kind of "details" should be ingame easy to access and learn, instead of having to search for a youtuber or dig into the wiki to learn them. Good job, personally I find the weapon kind of annoying given the manual reload.
I *would* play this gun *IF* they would finally add an auto reload after the magazine is empty and also greatly increase the max ammo since this thing is out of ammo in like 2 seconds when you don't use dispensary.
What would be the best stats for a riven be for the grenade variant of the build? The grenade scales of numerous things so i'm not sure which stats would be the best
@Aznvasions, any reason not to use Ceramic Dagger + Secondary Outburst on this? Ceramic still works with the Synth set reload, and Cata kills still stack up Ceramic's Combo. I can't actually see a difference in the crit damage though with my unranked Secondary Outburst so no idea if it's better than a different arcane.
They just should add a cooldown to the grenade if they wanted it to not be abused, it would be less annoying to use and the aoe breaking punch through on the beam make the gun dang near unusable imo, idky they tried to make the normal beam useless
i'm really annoyed with that punch through bug because I had been using it with zephyr tornadoes and a cc riven to nuke steel path and the punch through lets you hit multiple tornadoes and enemies when they're grouped, now that that doesn't work I'm gonna have to drop dps with a nukor or atomos or furis which sucks.

Since you already abuse the holster mechanic why not buff it more with holster amp and vigorous swap
