If the lock was installed in a door then you wouldn't be able to touch those interior parts, so isn't this cheating?

Amazing... this was one of I think 3 or 4 locks that have never been picked on film. Absolutely incredible work man. A real testament to your ability. I almost can't believe I was lucky enough to see it done!

Unbelievable! Fantastic groundbreaking work my friend. I am in awe! As far as I know this is the first time in history this has been done.

Thanks for the kind words. I was really surprised when I first got an open off camera. It took another hour and a half to get it on camera. The tumblers move so easy! Even bumping the lock will move them out of place. Super cool lock! Your video surely helped.

But, You did open it from the door inside, isn’t it? Thanks

After reading how the lock works I was surprised to find out that, from a pickers prospective there seem to only be 6x6x6 possible combinations of the disc's in the lock. I wonder if there's a way to exploit that to pick one without having the key to decode.

If you haven't already, I recommend watching my second video (it's in the description). I go into more detail about how the lock works. Ultimately, each disc can rotate in 10-degree increments. There are restrictions to ensure the key can operate fine, but in the end, there can be up to 11 million different keys. I have tried picking the lock using tension (pushing on the front) and there isn't much feedback. I'm sure it's possible, and others who I've talked speculate it would possible to pick without the key. The trouble comes from how the discs are designed. My second video describes the discs. There are teeth on the side which fall into the gears when tension is applied. There are short teeth and long teeth. The long teeth will interfere with tension and prevent the short teeth from finding their respective hole in the gears. I do plan on picking from the side with shutters, eventually. I'm working on some other locks at the moment, though.
Sorry for long reply. I get to talking and can't shut up. This is by far my favorite lock in my collection and I appreciate the engagement and conversation.
      Thanks!

Ce verrou n'a pas été crochetage ou décodé! Le dispositif de sécurité est manquant et a
    obtenu la clé.

Can you please elaborate on the security device? This is how the lock was purchased. I would love to know what is missing from the lock. Also, this wasn't the greatest video. My video 11 is better and I explain what I did. If you're talking about the shutters, then those are present on the side of the door that points to the outside. I was working with the portion of the lock that would be inside. And yes I had the key... that's how I decoded the lock which allowed me to open the lock. Good luck just looking at the key and opening this lock. You still need to decode the angles of the key.

Répétez avec le capuchon. Répétez en touchant uniquement l'extérieur (comme sur une porte).

I could probably do that. I was trying to show as much of the front as possible while manipulating it. I do want to try the other side with shutters. I'm working on picking an Assa Twin Combi at the moment, but after that, I'll get the shutter side. Thanks for the suggestion!!

xCAETUSx that was my question actually, on the video we see you manipulating a part that can’t be access. Was that just you holding the lock or was it useful?

Agreed. A picker wouldn't be able to put fingers on those rotating parts on the lock when it's in the door, but this guy fingers them. It's a cheat.
