Right?? Cuz in Rocky you really only hear him talk (and not sing except briefly in Time Warp) but yeah I was pleasantly surprised when I heard him sing :)
RobbytherobotMII Gaming at first i was looking for him, i was so sad that it didn't happen, but also haply that they stuck with the idea of him being dead, though i did cry when he died
+Entertainment FIlms Rocky Horror, as I understood it from the lyrics, is about Dr. Frank N. Furter coming to Earth and trying to live as a "normal" human. However, he succumbs to the times he's been sent to (late 60's, early-mid 70's) and starts experimenting with giving life to the lifeless and creating a new, more or less fantastic idea of what "normal" is on Earth. From what we can gather from the song "Sweet Transvestite", most of his wild lifestyle comes from his upbringing on the planet Transylvania, a place where their idea of "normal" is parading around in corsets, fishnets, and heels whether a man or a woman. Brad and Janet just come into the picture "by chance" (it's implied that someone may have laid some sort of trap for them or any others passing by the castle) and wind up getting whisked away by Frank's wild lifestyle and succumbing to their own desires and selfish needs. At the end, Riff Raff reveals that Frank's "mission is a failure", that his "lifestyle is too extreme", possibly hinting at what I mentioned previous about Frank's mission being to "blend in" to human society. The plot's there, it's just very obscure beneath that weird veil of glitter and sex.
The sun never sets on those who ride into it.
Perfect ending song to the misadventures of Brad and Janet, They finally get their well deserved happy ending!
I believe that this song is about doing what you want and following your dreams.
Charles Grey is a much better singer than I expected, seriously I want more of him please
