  • Taking the 95 GTX out for a water test.
So far so good. The gas gauge is acting up, sometimes itll read 3-4 bars sometimes nothing.
Maybe need to put in a new float?
It does have the newer plastic style float not the original foam float, but the float does look old.

Hello, i have a quick question. i have the same motor. Have you ever hooked it up to a water hose out of water? And if so, what side of the head. Carb side of exhaust side? Mine looks exactly like yours with what looks like the fitting on the exhaust side.

Exhaust side is the IN side where water comes in from the pump.

Somebody just gave me one of those things but I haven't had it on the water yet, how fast should I expect this thing to go?

      95 GTX with a 657x engine..maybe 40 mph. Its close 80hp, and a 96 GTI, same hull, with a 717 85hp does about 42-45mph.

Hello, i plan on picking one up today he sent me videos of it starting with a yamaha battery but what battery cca or type does the seadoo 95 gtx need?

      Should be a 16L.
Like ETX16L. Any good sealed agm style battery.
The 16 is the size rating and the L means Left, the ground negative post is on the Left side.
If you get an ETX16 then the negative post will be on the Right side and your cables wont reach, you need a 16L.

Looking at a 95 now just like this. What you think I don’t need nothing fancy we are looking to get one just to cruise and cool off when we are already out on our pontoon boat. You think these will pull a tube and what speed was you getting out there?

    • @GCEXTREMEMN
      @GCEXTREMEMN  Рік тому +1

Yes it will pull a tube no problem.
The speedometer isn't really accurate on these. The 657X motor has about 80hp.
Probably an average close to 40mph.

Good deal I found a nice 2 owner one here locally and thinking about getting it just to mess around with. But of coarse I’d like to have a newer supercharged one but I’m cheap

My 96 GTI, same hull, with the 717cc 85hp engine will do 43-45mph by my gps. So the 95gtx with 5hp less should be just a little slower than that.

@@ss454gm if u have kids/teenagers, its a good ski for them to learn on, simple maintenance, fast enough but not super dangerous fast, and pretty stable not tippy at all.
