you are really lucky to have that beautifull waters around! Simply WOW! Love the way you handled the smallmouth, alot of guys on YT dont care about the fish, they only care about their picture!
Ok, john, I might be a little jealous...some of the videos you've been posting lately are of some spectacular spots...it has rained so much in southern ohio lately that all my creeks are just trashed with high fast moving mud. I cant even get a decent video made from all of it...been living vicariously through yours lol
Seeking Moby I’m with you on that buddy, I’m in Lynchburg Ohio and we’ve been averaging about 25 rain days a month. Definitely makes the creek fishing rough
@@craigrasnic4178 I know...it's rained in area like that and also for the past 8 days...hopefully these flooded creeks will bring some big bass in when the creeks are back to normal
Seeking Moby - Ditto Dayton, Ohio area. I have not caught a smallie this season. Pond fishing is driving me crazy. Even the tiny creeks are blown. This has been a horrible summer. Nothing but tornadoes(destroyed 1/4 the city) and torrential rain.
wow sounds like ya'll have been having some bad weather, its aggravating for sure because the creeks are the first to flood and you can only fish so many ponds, hope it turns around soon
Not many people have been to that area you are in. I've been there 2-3 times and there are a lot of smallies in the warmer water above the powerhouse. Never thought I would see this area on video. I've caught some 30+ pound stripers south of the there. Good video man.
I am almost 30 years old and I find myself lying to my boss about having an upset stomach in order to watch Creek Fishing adventures in the bathroom at work. I'm having a fish life crisis
Man, I’ve been driving by those creeks & rivers for years making deliveries. I think I’m fixing to plan me a little day trip over that way. Great video, keep’em coming!!!👍
Try using a green pumpkinseed 4 inch lizard. I did pretty good on small river in southern Arkansas for smallies and a couple of large mouths and even a channel cat
That was certainly a very healthy small mouth!! And now I have to fish Hiwasee ...but in Ga. And during the week. Such Beautiful Scenery you fish! Even get'n skunked in a location like that we win....thanks!!
Awesome video buddy, after watching most of your videos now I have come to the conclusion that I could never move to Tennessee until I retire because I don’t think that I could hold down a job I would be fishing all the time
Hello Creek fisher. Where is the location of that powerhouse. I love you vids. We own property on the connasaugua and it’s got some great fish too. Thanks
I love these videos...I think you maybe able to catch some catfish..when you went feather down the creek...in the deeper part...still love the bass...keep up the great fishing..
Love swim baits. I like to throw them weightless in the rivers around here. Sometimes donkey rigged. Once caught two smallies at once. It was awesome. Great video man.
@@CreekFishingAdventures yeah I've been up through there a lot. We use to swim at the blue hloe up on the north Carolina border before they reworked the whole area for the Atlanta Olympics..
You are in a great area fishing for smallmouth bass. They love to be in rocky sections of rivers, etc. Beautiful fish you are catching and a great video again.
17:20 I Caught my PB smb mid day in only a few feet of water, I dont think smb are as sun shy as some people make them out to be. Im glad to see a nice smallmouth bass video from you. That looks like a pretty part of the country. Do you ever jig those cement walls at 0:42? Looks like they would sit on those. They do by a water near me.
Oh ok thanks. I bought some bass pro shops brand of them and they get lots of bites but I miss a lot of the smaller mouthed fish. All I had to use was a 3/0 offset worm hook and length wise it worked great. Was throwing I weightless on an ultra light
People pay big money for the fish spa stuff.. Enjoyed your video as usual, but I would be afraid of seeing some copperhead or maybe coral snakes along that river?
@@CreekFishingAdventures as many places you find that other people don't even have a clue exist, you have an extremely high chance of doing that. in fact I say it is probable.
Must be nice to see the fish in the water being legally blind i can't see them that was a nice smallie they're some big cats up the river somewhere lol
Dude, I love you’er videos and your focus on stream fishing, but you need to seriously get: 1. A vest and 2. A good net. You need everything more handy than a pouch (which is OK for bank fishing) and a good net will let you catch more fish with less stress on them and you can keep the fish in water while you do something else. I am 71 years old and my dad would have kicked my butt if I had ever grabbed the line for a fish unless we were deep sea fishing. Just some positive criticism. The old professor
One more thing. Get some good felt sole boots. Sneakers are just a broken bone waiting to happen due to the silt and algae. Buy a pair of lightweight stocking foot waders to go with the boots. You need to be ready for wading. As for an extra rod, you only need one. I will carry an extra and leave it in the car in case I break either the rod or reel. If I am going on a long walk, I have a backpack rod that ties to my pack, and I’ll throw an extra ultralight reel in the pack. But it isn’t worth dragging extra rods and reels just to keep a different type of lure. Think compact and handy. All of my suggestions will help you. I had to learn the hard way too. Beautiful small mouth Bass.
Creek Fishing Adventures Please understand that my criticism is intended to be positive. I have been a stream/trout fisherman and a teacher all of my adult life. Life lessons are always from our difficulties because we are hard headed! As you went away from the dam, the water warmed up and the species of bass changed to spots and large mouth. The SM like the cooler water and stronger currents. Good luck.
