I have my car sitting at Firestone right now because i need this same work done and they say they can’t get the part. I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited. Love the work you did. Voice was so calming.
@jeffb1886 theres tricks to getting it off. Heating it while spinning the hub usually makes it drop off. It is much easier to just replace it. You gotta figure by the time it gets replaced, some new lug studs wouldnt hurt anyway. Im sure the old ones are stretched and getting weak.
If there's grinding marks inside the knuckle part with the cv axle goes in should we change the knuckle or if the cv axle was grading on the knuckle should we change the cv axle?
So for spindle since it doesn’t have the groove that the original one had does it matter or will I have to remove the groove from the original and put it on the aftermarket one
No, its actually Hercules from Harbor Freight. I replaced my Milwakees with them. I have a few reviews on the Hercules tools. I absolutely love their lineup.
@@MegaMilesBen ya I picked up a 1/2 inch dewalt to do this exact job just yesterday. I used the bearing press kit when it’s on the car. I don’t have a big press. But that Dewalt was heavy as hell LOL. That Hercules made easy work of those fasteners and it looks as light as a 1/4 inch drive gun. Nice. I’ll check them out
I do in some of my newer videos if I see a need. Im a very low talker and a lot of people cant hear me in person anyway. Its been like that all my life. I dont make instructional videos, more of quick guides for those that dont want to sit through all the talking. My videos originally started to show my clients my work and a lot of people liked them so I started listing torque specs and socket/wrench sizes. What did you need to know? Maybe I can help.
@@MegaMilesBen nothing in general because i do a lot of repairs myself, i was just referring to the ones that never have done that work what they need to look for and what to remove to get to certain things or part . I like the original tools no impacts lol
@hdot9044 oh yea, I almost forgot... someone made a crack about my voice on my How To Test For A Siezed Engine video too 🙄 I dont need that when Im trying to help people. Ill probably keep a majority of my videos silent.

I hope they get it done soon. Thanks for watching!
i just bought hubs and have no idea how to know if they're the right ones? if anyone has new info tryna help out pls
@loga-nq9ti theres a cut-off point on the production date of the car. Itd probably be easiest to call the dealership and have them check by vin.
fantastic video! this is how all youtube videos used to be.. plain simple straight to the point! thanks for the upload. cheers from jersey
Thanks for watching!
Hanger on the caliper. Nice! I’m using that 🤯
@Highsteel21 I got these on amazon. I tried making my own with a coat hanger but it wasnt strong enough lol... amzn.to/3zy0uZf
Great video! Love your dog walking around like a boss! Appreciate you using hand tools as most of DIY people would be using that.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
And yes, 'Tasha runs the place 😆
You know hes been a mechanic for a long while, when hes on point with that WD40 Hits the bolt right on the spot and dont waste a drop 😂
🤣

Great video. Why did you change the hub ?
I show at the beginning how wobbly it is.
It’s a lot easier to just replace the hub than to try and remove the race from the old one. Waaayyy too much effort required.

Do you have to replace the wheel bearing with the assembly or can I get away with just replacing the hub assembly?
This one is a pressed bearing. Not a hub assembly. You have to remove the bearing from the knuckle and press a new one in.
If there's grinding marks inside the knuckle part with the cv axle goes in should we change the knuckle or if the cv axle was grading on the knuckle should we change the cv axle?
Without looking at that, itd be hard for me to say. It would also depend on where the grinding marks are and what the cause was.

Im not sure what you mean?
Wyh didn't you put tie rod on before the rotor and caliper
Because it allows me to turn the knuckle for better access to the caliper bracket bolts. Cones in really handy on some cars.
I get now and be able to torque them great video

‘12 n ‘11 is the same or not??
Should be very very simular. Not sure about the part # though.
Is that a Makita? It’s strong

btw was that the limited 4dr trim? do you know the correct part for the hub assembly?
This particular hub part # is listed at 22:09. It is a separate hub and bearing that need to be pressed together durring install, not an assembly.
Do you talk. It would be helpful to others what you doing and why you doing it. Let’s get with it

@hdot9044 I do make note of the different hub sizes due to the cut off month on that year at the end so I do talk a little lol.
