In 1975, my dad and I drove from Bartlesville Oklahoma to Ft Richardson. Left Oklahoma December 26th. Took us 7 days. I was 19 years old then. That was the trip of a lifetime. Spent 2 years at ft rich. Spent most of my time at a small base at Delta Junction AK. Best time of my youth.
You are definitely a lucky young man to have the privilege of living up there.

That’s awesome. Yeah Fort Greeley I’ve picked up a trailer from there once. I bet the highway was much different in the 70s

@TheAlaskaTrucker yep. 50 miles out of Edmonton, the gravel stated didn't end till Alaska. Cold as all hell.

I think it was Watson Lake we stayed at in the 70's on our way to Fairbanks. I remember it being a beautiful place. Ya, we get stupid people going up to the Bison every year in Yellowstone.

The Alaska Highway sign in Dawson Creek has been down for repair (I believe it is back up now.) I don’t know how many days behind your videos are. My son and I drove the ALCAN last summer. Safe travels!

Yes I saw one sign but wasn’t a good spot to pull in front of it. I had thought there was one with a pullout to get photos and such but may have missed it.

Have good memories of the trip you get to make. Glad that you have good equipment to work with. Looks like the load rode ok. Was there any rough roads from breakup that got your attention? How far apart were the roadhouses? They were enjoyable to stop and visit. Thanks again.

Road from destruction bay into tok was rough! Other than that not too bad. I think the furtherst was a hundred miles or so between the small stops. I can’t wait to bring my kids one day haha it’s a long fun trip

Thanks for the ride along....very disappointed that you didn't show the beautiful country of British Columbia and take the time to actually know where in BC you were. The shot of the truck pull off bathroom doesn't depict BC.

Showed lots of BC. It’s beautiful. I was running on low sleep and was thousands of miles into a trip sorry I messed up while talking about location 😉

Drove Super B from Southeast Saskatchewan to the north of Ft Nelson and points in between, oilfield loads, including off-road, to the drilling rigs
