Fun ride and nice pace. The 690 is a great bike and those roads are its perfect environment at those speeds. But 1290 is brutal and when its rider is in the right mood, would leave the 690 for dust exiting the corners although the 690 should, in theory, go around corners faster.
Props to the rider on the 690 KTM. The Ducati rider may well have had more power but he may have lacked the confidence & skill to move away with any purpose. Remember boys & girls, stay in your lane & don't over-take on a crescent. Patience can win many a 'legal' race down a mountain. Respect and ride safe.
dangerous, go to a race track and bla bla bla... I say awesome ride guys! The 690 dude is fast as hell with his bike but probably the superduke could have gone faster, the guy is not forcing in my opinion ... sick riders!
+1980garas You will make a good hood ornament one day riding like that. I could pass you both on my 690 Duke whilst keeping to my lane. Do some professional rider training and raise your ability a few levels. Or don't and just decorate the front of an oncoming vehicle. Simple.
Nice riding. I prefer to challenge myself more by practicing keeping clean tight lines on my side of the lines, crossing only when I see well around the corner, and no where else. If you practice that habit you greatly reduce the risk of killing some one else...
how can you say:" beautiful, awesome, full of skill! " the only thing i see is two guys crossing lane almost every corner in public street, making bad lines during cornering, and the 1290 driver has an orrible driving position! you have to learn how to ride guys.. aniway those are two beautiful motorcycle.. ride safe!
Calling other people's skills bad and can't even spell skills correctly... The facepalm level is over 9000 how about you go and challenge these guys? The way this guy handles his 690 SMC R in the corners is pretty fucking good actually
:)) LOL :)) Great Vid, Feels like I ride myself. Most bikers dont understand the power and agility of a light Bike and they even think fast Bike means fast Biker :D KeepRacing ;)
you should always use it do decrease gears but from mid to high rpm you don't need to use the clutch(you should but but they don't grid as it's a different system as the one found in cars)
Awesome riding, awesome corners and awesome bikes! :) but please stay in your lane and stay safe bro ;)
haha nice keeping up with the 1290 dude, but crossing into other lane, is risky bussiness
Great chase between Goliath and half-Goliath. Super
I must say some really great riding. Im impressed at how you kept up with the big 1290 Duke. Subbing for more of this epicness!

The SuperDuke rider rides way outside of his skills. It's OK if he kills himself, but he will fuck up someone's car (and maybe health) in the process.
Great! Keep up the good work! You guys are a the top of your reflexes an physical fitness, you will make great organ donors!
Still no donations, five years later!

It looks like you don't use clutch... Am I right?
Sometimes....
1980garas isn't it bad for the gears?
you should always use it do decrease gears but from mid to high rpm you don't need to use the clutch(you should but but they don't grid as it's a different system as the one found in cars)
Why not just drive over the cliff? Then at least you wouldn't involve anyone else in your accident waiting to happen.
Famous last words people claim when they phuck up? I Didn't Know....
Nice ride, less is more, tell your friend 1290 to learn how to drive before mess with you.
It's harder to ride a 1290 than a 690 through twists
your right, but most off the times less is more, for driving staight we have Suzukys Hyabusas ;)
+estilo gala yup 😂
What is your handguard?

few bikes can keep up with the 690 in the twistys.
The vid is nice. But you should visit a racetrack to match your riding style!
