Why is Austria important?
a fairly free and early boost to factories and manpower, especially for those that can core the land. denying germany austria early game denies them like, 10-20% of their early eco, not to mention millions of men.
@@poyloos4834 It's definetly not that big of a deal. Austria in 1938/39 will grant Germany maybe 10 civs and 10 mils, and that's provided they do their industry focuses. The biggest boon is getting their army which speeds up taking the Sudetenland. Austria being important is just the running joke of this video

you can have few early wars before ww2
you have navy to play with or to ignore it (planes are enough to defend mediterranean sea agains AI )
you can go fight in europe , you can fight in africa , you could push to brazil or asia . They have nice early,mid game as italy is not rylly focused by allies until US join war . Best country for fresh players who wanna learn all aspect of a game but still wanna be in a middle of a fight .Playing as Canada is boring ! you could go afk for whole game and nothing bad would happend to you :P
