I honestly feared that if "Budokai Tenkaichi 4" would have the same mechanics as the OG's but at modern (read: Sekiro) speed, then my hands would break from cramping within the first week - glad to see that beam clashes avoid it. Curious about other combos & counters.

The curved bar is the blast gauge is a Tenkaichi resource used for certain moves like kaioken and wild sense also used for transformations

Okay, the numbers below the character potrait is the Ki Meter you have collected, while charging gives you Ki bar. On going Full Power, ie max power, you will have a maxed out Ki bar, access to your ultimate in exchange for 1 Ki Meter. The health bar is denoted by the bar to the side of the character portrait. The dotted line represent how much bar you have. For example, if you have 3 dots, it signifies that you have 3 HP Bar left.

The slap away move is new to tenkaichi but it was in raging blast…so only new to this series but most of the new stuff is clean, im almost sold…but i feel its still mostly selling itself on visuals rather than new gameplay

its the same ui as bt3 just yassified so its really faithful,the yellow bars are segmented but it seems standardized for all characters, the blue curved bar under them would naturally b the blast stocks for b1's like explosive wave, instant transmission, or full power

I might be alone in this but i wish the ki blast like kamehameha looked a bit more like they do in Kakarot or behaved like ki waves hitting you rather than impact explosion, or a mix of both. Also the size of them, ssb kame should be bigger. Otherwise this absolutely perfect

The only thing that bothers me is that the trailer confirms that each hex represents a transformation too, so this game will have way less characters than the previous one, and they WILL add DLC Characters, so you will need to pay even more to still have less numbers in the rooster

Honestly, the one thing I'm hoping for in a future trailer is a brief glimpse of a post-TOP character (Merus, Moro, Gas, Granola, ect.)
