Why does it feel like hobi had a breakthrough that led to (and reflected) mang’s face reveal? so proud of you hobi 😭 the temporary break on group activities to pursue solo ones was clearly a difficult change for bangtan, but as they also said, it’s their path for growth now. i’m just so proud of them 😭
it's because he did in real life. during BTS's debut, he wore a mask (you would notice it in their debut song No More Dream) because he was considered "ugly." But he stopped wearing it as he gained more self confidence. This episode represents that time.

I loved the fact Mang has the courage to take the mask off now. What I didn’t expect was the tears rolling down my face upon seeing the reveal and the symbolism of RJ being the one there with him after he takes off the mask 🥺😭. Hobi was my first bias in kpop and Mang was and is my favorite and I’m so emotional right now.

This is so cute!🥹 I love the symbolism of the new day dawning as he reveals himself. I absolutely love how his hyung was the first one to witness it. In his caring manner, RJ smiles and allows Mang to lean on him as he feels the sun on his face and the wind on RJ's fur. This is so heartwarming. I really adore BT21. Mang has a special place in my heart because they are such a unique character. I absolutely love Mang with and without the mask.
I love how they released this before Hobi is going into military. RJ was there along with Mang when he took off his mask, and now Hobi is joining Jin.
Finally Mang took off the mask! It is so sweet that RJ handed Mang a drink and didn't say anything about taking off the mask. Their friendship is so deep and warm just like the friendship of Jin and Hobi.

NO, that's NOT TRUE. Please don't spread lies. He didn't wear that mask because he was deemed ugly; he wore that for aesthetic purposes for the concept of their album as directed by Bang PD. It is on their interview in MNET. This concept you are saying doesn't make sense cuz how can he even debut if it was deemed ugly. He got so many fans and popular already even debuting as bangtan so don't believe everything you watch on YT or Tiktok. There is no PROOF that what you are saying is correct.
