Mike is the perfect reflection of strength, humbleness, and what moving forward looks like. Thank you for leading by example. So many desperately need to see what coming out of the ashes looks like.
Mike has so much passion in so many things from music, to art, and Mike is that kind of guy who is really strong as a brick on the outside but is kind and soft and fuzzy on the inside. After hearing his side on what happened after the events with Chester I was immediately brought back into the anxiety of like "what is going to happen next?" " is this the end of the band?" "what can I do to make this right again?" And seeing his reaction to everything and listening to Post Traumatic I found strength in listening to One More Light and everything that Linkin Park had to offer. To put it short - Mike your an awesome artist, who inspired me to make art and music, and to find strength in things that we love and respect.
I was scared when Mike was asked about President Trump but he handled it so well. He's very smart and only talks about the stuff he really relates to. Nobody can argue with the things his family experienced
It is interesting to know about how Mike lived and his hobbies. It was very sad to hear a story of Mike's family who lost all. They survived a lot! America did many bad things in the past. From other side, now in USA Mike probably have more freedom, more possibilities to express himself than he would in Japan. He can travel around the world. Japan lives very much on their own.
Does Lee Eckley have a background as a therapist because he sounds like one. What a great interview! I hope these questions weren't too taxing for Mike, but it was nice to hear some deep conversation.
Wtf was that last question that way he asked it was just so insensitive. Mike was great though it just seems disrespectful for the interviewer to ask a question like that the way he did
Thing is Mike is way too humble. He has no ego which imo is more of a good thing than a bad thing but it works against him in cases like this. Old school famous rock starts for sure would react different to that last question.
Alexis Carvalho oh, I think he talked about that I believe in the 'running from my shadow "annotation on Genius. How his kindness is mistaken or taken advantage of? 🤔 though I am not going to say this is the case here with the intervier though, but I can see why one would think such.
Alexis Carvalho Ah, found the qoute "It’s an amazing feeling to be of service to someone else. And it’s important to be aware of any point where you might be taken advantage of. They say “don’t mistake kindness for weakness.” It’s also important to never let your kindness turn into weakness, that your generosity be used against you.'
If more people carried themselves like Mike wow great response at the end However I am looking at bible prophecy unfold and I only pray people find Jesus Left ,right musician Plumbers Whoever you are out there . Jesus is coming soon. Good job Mike the end of interview stirred me up tu speak up because were outta time and in the end man it does matter ya all Love prayers and peace Love the album
Shadow of the day ok well that was 2014 an LP lead singer hadn't passed away. So now Mike is in a totally different situation an dealing with that, an thats what this whole album tour is about. Post Traumatic NOT politics.
So there is no more linkin park because your lead singer has passed away? Many bands continue whether someone left or passed away just found another singer! No more linkin park only for you mike to become solo??
Mike is the perfect reflection of strength, humbleness, and what moving forward looks like. Thank you for leading by example. So many desperately need to see what coming out of the ashes looks like.
I agree completely
This man is fantastic at what he does and I think he cares for others too.
Mike doesn’t deserve insensitive interviewers but I love how professionally he handles it. He is so kind, treat him with that same kindness please !!

Today, as much as a year ago, hearing the words "Chester passed"... OMG it cuts me so deeply still... I'm stuck at that phase, the denial.
Giorgia Chiodi yes
Me too.. n mike as many keep saying that, but it's still as knife hit to the back :/
I was scared when Mike was asked about President Trump but he handled it so well. He's very smart and only talks about the stuff he really relates to. Nobody can argue with the things his family experienced

Then you are delusional and unworldly. Japan is much more free and more wealthy.
Mike is a genius
Such an uplifting person!!!

Does the interviewer even know who he's interviewing? The interviewer sounds so bored, lol. At least Mike is keeping it fun and decent
kolaida - He asks his questions so lazily. Like *siiiiii-question-iiiiiiiigh*
kolaida he’s just calm, i don’t think he means any harm
I dont think he has a clue of the greatness in front of him🤨but thats good why Mike seems more at Ease
Am i the only one who saw the fleeting WTF BLINKS in his eyes 2x😉😌

It got awkward from 0 to 100 real quick ! But Mike handled it superbly :D
This Man🫂💫🌟
Mike ❤
mike is amazing as always (chester wld b proud of him), the interview is really not good
El tiene capacidad de resiliencia
The ending was so awkward ..
I thought exactly the same!
Yup! LOL
the interviewer is definitely not familiar with Linkin Park
Also the very last question was so out of context. Dude was an asshole
What does he mean by the last question?
If more people carried themselves like Mike wow great response at the end

Love the album
Why oh why Mike. Fall for this journalist magic trick to talk politics. Great album. #ripchester
A. Zio10 I actually wish more people would ask Mike about politics. He’s smart and he has considered opinions. We could use more of his voice.
whatiwasgoingtosay well I would like to hear about his album an how he is doing an the others of LP. Not politics. So depressing. Politics. Ugh...
A. Zio10 Look, The Hunting Party is a sort based on politic, so...
Shadow of the day ok well that was 2014 an LP lead singer hadn't passed away. So now Mike is in a totally different situation an dealing with that, an thats what this whole album tour is about. Post Traumatic NOT politics.
ah he opposes Trump...another reason to like him lol
Bennington death was traumatic only for his fans.for Shinoda Bennington had tomuch personality...
Ok. Political not good. Stick with music Dude interviewer. Totally diff situation. Geezzzz...

you're being very insensitive to a group that has lost someone that was their best friend for decades.
