낚시하다 보면 탑가이드 쪽 캐스팅하다가 또한 릴 감다가 부러져본 경험들 있지요

Reducing the size of the tip makes it weaker and easily broken again. I have repaired my rod tips this way before but the best way is to use a little larger new tip. Tips come in a sizes. He did do a really good job and it does work. Regards

One of the biggest mistakes in replacement of a rod eye tip....is over heating the rod with say a lighter

No good. It will break again. You weakened the rod, by sanding it, and making it too thin. Get a new tip top, with a larger tube diameter.
