It's a trick done with compositing. Basically this is two scenes in one. The scene with the box and a scene with the interior. They are recorded with the exact same camera movement. The inside of the box has a material that I assigned as a mask. Then I was able to put the interior scene in its place. Essentially, it's like cutting a hole out of an image and putting something behind the hole to fill the gap.
Splendid work! 'Loving the updated inclusion of the ramp too.
Thank you! When I was making different variants these boxes, I just had to include the ramp on my more recent one. I like how it turned out.
Those doors really said 💥💥💥
They're not the most quiet doors are they. The Doctor better also oil those hinges if they plan to use the TARDIS to sneak around with.
Awesome job, I'd love to see this technique used to make impossible spaces like in House Of Leaves
The outside is complete, but the inside is... Hmm...It's just the outside, but it's still incomplete. Got it, Ok Ha?
Amazing job!!! gotta learn how to use the ray portal node lol
Thank you! I'm quite happy with how this little experiment came out.
Good job!
Thank you!
This is awesome. I’d love to do something like this with my Tardis model, but not sure how to make the doors open inwards and through the portal.
Thats amazing could you do a tutorial
Looks a bit Smaller on the inside
"It's smaller on the outside"
