Charlotte Fire Attacks House Fire

At 9:23 p.m. on June 12, 2024, Charlotte Fire arrived on scene at the 1500 block of Clooney Lane. When our firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames. It took our firefighters 30 minutes to control the fire. Charlotte Fire command was informed by the resident that there were seven dogs inside the house and unfortunately all dogs were found deceased. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Two adults and one child were displaced because of the fire. Red Cross assisted the family. Charlotte Fire investigators determined the fire was caused by an electrical issue within the garage. The estimated property/content loss is $275,000.
