Yeah!! Saw him multiple times when I lived in Zimbabwe. He was a,great man he did free concerts in Zim this is my absolute favorite version of this song.
His passing was such a shocker to all. I'm Tuku's greatest fan in South Africa. The whole of December 2018 I was listening to his music compilation. His music has such a calming effect on me especially when I play it driving a long distance. I do not understand the lyrics of his songs, yet each song has a way in which it communicates with me. I was introduced to his music more than 15 years ago..."Murimi Munhu" & "Neria" my most favourite songs. R.I.P. Mr Mtukudzi, we were really blessed to have such a talented musician like you. Your music legacy will live forever 🎸🎺🎶🇿🇦🇿🇼
I am from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 but just stuck to these legends from Southern Africa. Listening to Tuku for example just makes me to love Africa 🌍 ❤ the more. RIP.
Hello Diana,I’m from Tanzania and I need a friend from Zimbabwe,I made my internship with a friend from there and I lost his contacts,he was a very good guy.
You can see me dancing through frame at one point of this video. But this is also why Reggae on the River will always hold a special place in my heart. I went into this set knowing nothing about him and i left a fan for life. RIP
@@frankchihora2071 Reggae on the River used to be an annual even held on the Eel River at a place called French's Camp in very Northern California (humbolt county). It was a special place.

The music is top class. There is a lot of organization. A lot of planning was put into place before releasing the song. Very fantastic and marvelous performances. This talent has left this world MHSRIP
I am so happy Tuku really made the people in the concert dance. Wishing I was there. Enjoying your performance in Kenya. Continue Resting in Peace Uncle Tuku.
Listening to this with a heavy broken heart 3 weeks after his death. I never imagined listening to his music addressing him as the late Legend Dr Oliver Mtukudzi. Will never be replaced but your music will live forever.
That's the goodness of all of Oliver's songs. And that's the true definition of a musician. I'm actually feeling blessed. The whole crew also did some splendid work. I miss him so much.
I'm a Nigerian and I have almost all of tuku's songs, the language is different but music is a universal language, keep resting my favorite Zimbabwean singer
Albany Oregon held a concert with these guys at river rhythms.. I remember this spiritual moment in my young life. Oliver himself handed water bottles to us down from stage.
27th of January 2011 I lost my only child/daughtr who ws 11yrs due to a car accident, that day i played ths song on repeat mode and tears rolled down my face😭😭😭

What I love most about this song is how it depicts the concept of desperation. To be down on your knees seeking answers to personal conflicts and vices is no joke.
I love this video to and fro. The dances are honorably done. The arrangement of the instruments is spectacular and the voice is deep and strong enough. I live it. Can't stop getting enough of it.
