So what if the woman is the one that was brought up in a very rough violent atmosphere. Is the man able to smooth over her rough edges for her or will he just completely forget about her because she's not warm and fuzzy and soft - does she just get left by the wayside? No. Clear communication with your partner on how you desire to be loved is not a wound. It’s a core value. If your partner neglects the relationship because of work and other reasons, you must communicate to them what hurts you, or they will not know how to love you properly.
But what we're not touching on here, is most males were taught and brainwashed to be narcissistic sociopath with a double standard mindset- and until that changes, nothing will. and by the way,I don't think Melissa was being completely honest here, I think she held back cuz she didn't want to insult Jake- a lot of women me as well, when I look at a man I think of sex. most women do and the better he looks the more sexual we think about him. Sorry guys - this isn't going to be a get out of jail free card for you all-
