A bit of a break from my art videos.
We were so blessed to be able to visit our family ranch for New Years. There was almost too much snow for the Friesian Isaac (Fetze TCF) to pull the sleigh through. We wound up having to clear a track for him. I wanted to film more from within the sleigh, but once we picked up past a walk...lets just say that I was not able to keep the camera still. Special thanks to my Aunt for the wonderful afternoon.

My 85 year old mother was just lamenting the fact that she's never taken a one horse open sleigh ride in the snow. Just sent her this video so we can both watch it. Thanks for posting this for us.

Awesome horse! I dont know much about horses other than fixing whet they break or need. My girlfriend has a Friesian mare and also a quarter horse. I ride the Friesian because she likes the quarter horse more. Having no skills all the "horse people" tell me to ride the quarter horse. I only like the Friesian, shes a jolting trot but will take me up ANY hill in the zoar valley region of NY we live in. Her Friesian horse hates her and has bucked her off, mind u she is pretty good on horses. But thst horse is a GEM OF AN ANIMAL FOR THIS POSER COWBOY!!! Trying to show children over here in Thailand what a one horse open sleigh looks and sounds like and why the bells , they sing the song don't know the words or what it's all about ( they just make singing sounds), and genuinely not a bit interested and find anything not connected with

Beautiful horse, working well. The breast collar band is a tad too high, though, it can press on the windpipe when bigger loads are pulled.
