Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride - Christmas Eve

- Every year throughout the winter my Dad harnesses up the team for sleigh rides on the 160 acre plot in Warburg, Alberta, Canada. This year I thought I would shoot some video of it. Its my first attempt at slicing a bunch of videos together. Harnessing the horses, hooking the horses up to the Sleigh, Sleigh ride, tobogganing, sleds being pulled from the back, and then putting away the horses. I hope you like it. PETE n' PEARL, STEP!!!
Christmas 2018
yes;I'm from Stephenville newfoundland [73 now]yes for sure they well remember these moments forever,I know I do-going in the forest to get a x-mas tree, hearing the horse bells, and the snow comming down so gently--a day before x-mas.Yes them beautiful days are gone, and it hurts just to think of it.Bless you all.xo Howard Benoit.
Hello there Howard… 66 years old here, yes the beautiful days are gone, and it does hurt, most especially since my grandchildren will never know the beauty that was since they will live in a world that has traded the Truth for the Lie. May God Bless you, and I hope that heaven will hold a pair of ponies and a sleigh, for such a wonderful, simple blessing to all who strove and fought the good fight!
Showing my 3 year old grand baby and singing songs ... thank you and have a Merry Christmas season 🎄♥️❄️
Really nice little video , thanks for sharing it with us all .
Such gorgeous horses!
Nice video!
Awesome
♥️
you shd get a proper sleigh for the horses as what they are pulling is a sledge not a sleigh. look at a currier n ives painting they picture sleighs
@Tammy Henry of course i know theres a variety of sleighs; this is not one of them; its called a sledge.
Oh my god... how FABULOUSLY boring this was! An exercise in how to NOT make a video! You harness 2 horses and then...take them nowhere? REALLY?
You could go watch something else. The back arrow is right there...
Hmmm... I thought Christopher Hitchens pretty much drank himself to death... That's MUCH more exciting than watching a team of horses pull a sleigh.
@@Boospoochie - Christopher’s drinking was more of servant than a master, he used it in such a way to service his writing. What killed him was his smoking (much faster than he would have otherwise, in my opinion). Sorry you were terribly offended. My mind rebels against mediocrity, the mundane and stagnation. What happens when a social platform has no editing, the mediocrities rule.
