This is the first video where I see someone including everything there is to be needed to print with resin safely. Other videos tend to leave out some important details like the one where you showed how to strain out the leftover resin from the VAT.
About to venture into 3D printing and found this video very informative and highlighted a few potentual pitfalls for me too. Very helpful, thank you very much for this.
I'm glad it helped out. Yeah, it's tough because I'm getting pretty good results with resin printing, but it definitely has some drawbacks compared to the regular FDM printing
Son has a 3d printer and I'm looking at getting into it as well so I'll make sure to grab some gloves safety goggles and a respirator along with my printer He has a curing station along with a washing station which I can use so I will save some money there
Just finished watching all your 3D printing videos. Super Great information !!! Thank you so much, I've learned a great deal and look forward to trying my had at this once I get back to CA & my shop. The tips are worth their weight in gold.
I bought a clean and cure station when I bought my printer - I still haven’t used either - ( I need to be 3 people with everything I want to do - lol )
I really don't have a lot of knowledge about the software side of things, but here's what I can tell you about it. To print files, you just need to use a slicer program like Chitubox or Lychee Slicer to get the file prepared for printing, they are free programs 🙌🙌 If you want to create your own models from scratch, there is a free version of Fusion 360, TinkerCAD, or you could use Shapr3d on mobile devices. Lots more too, but those are three I know of off the top of my head Down the road, I'll create a video that shows the steps I take to print something from start to finish. I'd like to get some more experience under my belt first so it's as useful as possible

this is one of the better videos on the subject, great job! so many people on youtube flinging and spilling their resin around. appreciate this video
Perfect video for a newbie like myself. Ordered a bunch of supplies from your affiliate links and subscribed! Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!

Great video Zac. Look forward to the rest of the printer series.
Thanks! More coming soon 😀
Hey Zac, Thanks for the videos. Any chance you can let us know if ethanol is as good as isopropanol? ethanol has less of a pungent smell, right?
Watching now - thank you Zac !
I hope this list helps you get all you need to get up and running 😀
@@ZacHiggins appreciate you Zac !

Thanks for checking it out 😀
How long do the filters last for the masks?

I am exactly the same way, just not enough time in the day to get to everything! 😅
Software, that’s what i want to know about. That’s the part that stops me
Yes ! Software - let’s talk about that :) I am lost
