Anyway I’ve been writing and noodling recently and I’ve made a little demo of a tune that I wrote a couple of weeks ago and it actually came out sounding pretty good … the lyrics are quite apt for the times and I think I’d like to share it with you.
The song is called ‘We’re Gonna Get There In The End’.

I'd never criticise him for wanting to do new stuff like he's been doing for a few years but when he does his thing, this thing, he's untouchable.
Wot ur saying is his last album was fuckin shite, and he knew it, hed never admit it, he pretends he doesn't care if people don't like his newer stuff ( Them fuckin scissors mate ?? ) But hes pukka at wot he does with catchy tunes that resonate with people, especially as this years probably been the worst ever for most people. Cum on Noel, give us a proper album again, forget that disco/ jazz shite!! Good to see the chiefs back
Not that it was shite it had 3/4 good songs on it but it wasn't a proper Noel album, you didn't listen to every time and think it was great. I think he's seen how people have gone mad for Liam in the past couple of years and how he's just sticking to his guns and giving people what they want and doing what he does best and not only has it been a huge success commercially, critics have even lauded him as well which is unusual. So I think Noel has seen that and thought "shit, for the first time in my life people aren't really into what I'm doing and are favouring what Liam is doing"... So he's got the finger out and written some proper tunes again instead of the disco stuff he was doing. All credit to him for pulling off a complete change in direction but it didn't hit home with people and the gigs weren't the same either. Nobody ever wanted to miss a song at a Noel gig but at the last couple I was at people weren't that bothered about missing his new stuff which unfortunately made up half the gig.

This nostalgic Mood doesn't help. It Is full of great new music but you should search. A clear example? Last Fiona Apple's LP. Or you can try to listen Snow Angel by Braids. Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers...and more and more and more....

This man has written the entire soundtrack to my life! He is a genius! Imagine when we can all go to gigs again, Noel walks onto stage, opens with Fort Knox, Holy Mountain then this followed by a set full of Oasis and Solo classics! Crowds singing and dancing forgetting about the last 12 months! Goosebumps man!! Cant stop listening to this!

This beautiful song makes me feel like Noel is nostalgic for Oasis. Their old songs are buried in the lyrics: 1. "Remember the dream you're keeping alive" (Keep the Dream Alive) 2. "When the morning comes, Will you wake up by my side?" (Slide Away) "In the morning, we don't know what to do." 3. "Give it Half a chance, and The World might find A Way" (Half the World Away) 4. @Dan Lalonde naa the guitars could be wayyyy better produced too, these arangements are pretty simple, specially compared to what Noel's been doing post oasis so i believe that a fully finished version will also include more drone/fullfiling guitars
