My personal feeling is that there's a blue tsunami coming that might come like out of the blue, all over the place, doesn't even matter which state we're in, like with the hurricanes recently, but in a good way this time, of course.
A poll was released on Saturday by Dartmouth that has Kamala up 19% in New Hampshire. I think there is going to shock across the land by her enormous margins. Main stream media has stoked this "close" race. It's not close. It's going to be a blue landslide. (P.S. Let's eliminate the electoral college which was put in place to appease southern landholders after the Civil War.)
I'm also thinking that the college areas, like Ann Arbor for Michigan U, and East Lansing for Michigan State, will have a larger student voting turnout, mostly blue. Although many in the Muslim community may stay home or vote trump, I think more remember his Muslim ban. What hasn't been spoken of, is the large Ukrainian population in your state. Having lived in the Little Ukraine neighborhood in NYC for 9 years, I know how connected they are to their mother country, and that will be blue votes. The Polish community, also aware of the Russian threat will likely follow suit.
It's an unpredictable demographic. In the early days of the Cuban flight from Castro, it was a very red crowd. That was a cold war anti communist vote. Children and grandchildren from those refugees have become mixed. There are Puerto Ricans, mostly Democrats. Then South Americans, pretty split. They may speak Spanish, but there are cultural differences.
New Jersey here! We're known as a blue state and sadly we know Rump too well here...how he helped ruin Atlantic City for his own stupidness! He bankrupted a dang casino there! We all hate rump here.
I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and there's an old joke: you have Pittsburgh in the west and Philadelphia in the east, and everything between is Mississippi. In 2020, suburban women from the Philadelphia area who voted trump in 2016, swung Biden in 2020. I remember in December of 2019, pre pandemic, that a friend, an op ed columnist, then at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, told me that suburban Philly ladies would flip the state, and he was right. Because of SCROTUS overturning Roe, more of them will go blue. I'm getting a sense that some surrounding counties to these two cities may get more blue votes from the secret flippers. They're mostly women, driven by the abortion question, but keeping their mouths shut. I voted early, and I understand that it's been heavy. There have been early voting places open on the weekends, and we have until Tuesday, the 29th. This usually bodes well for Democrats.
When I moved to North Carolina in the early '70s, it was still trying to be a progressive state. It has been more progressive than SC for years. But after Reagan and the off-shoring of jobs, things have grown much darker. The number of Trump trucks (pick-ups flying the Confederate battle flag and slathered in Trump signs), is far fewer than in 2020. The governor is a Democrat, but the state legislature has a GOP super-majority that is totally MAGAfied.

Morning and Blue Blessings to All! Voted Blue! 💙💙💙 I used to live in Missouri. It's not pronounced "Missour", it's pronounced "Missoura". Local dialect.
Missouri born & raised here. I can always tell if someone is from Missouri by the way they say "Missoura". Now I'm living in a red state, voting blue all the way! 💙💙💙
You're right on the money regarding NC! State is split down the middle. Western NC is blue, more rural Eastern NC is red. GOP has super majority in state house and senate due to extreme gerrymandering. However voter turnout has been huge during the last week. Praying my state goes blue! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I live in Ohio so I’m not surprised that it will go blue. Back in 2016 there were trump sign everywhere. This year I have only seen 4 trump sign and all the other rest have seen is Harris waltz. So yes Ohio is going blue and my own cards have confirmed it 💃🏻 💙 blue 🌊 🎉
I'm hoping that there will be a big college turnout from the big universities in Columbus and Kent. Keeping my fingers crossed that voters in Gym Jordan's district are tired of him.
Good work, Ellie. I hope with all my heart that this positive reading is going to come true. On the face of it it looks like there's going to be a BLUE tsunami heading for the US. 🙏 I SO hope so. 🙏🗳💙
Interesting fact about Louisiana. It was a mix of red and blue, the Dems living mostly in big cities, but after Katrina, New Orleans lost 1/3 of its population. The state then became more typical of Southern states, which is republican. They just can't forgive the dems for the Civil Rights act. Thanks Ellie, these readings are interesting!❤
The Missouri accent tends to turn i to a at the end of a word. Christians there like to praise the Lard as well. I went to seminary there. The praising the Lard part always gave me a giggle.
That's me in New Mexico. We turned this state blue about a decade ago, even my county. A lot of red, I think but all red hats disappeared a year ago, overnight. Got less aggressve and more polite.
Minnesota is Walz territory. It’s a Great Lake state and I thought it was considered part of the blue wall. Tim was born in Nebraska. I believe Omaha is tallied separately, usually going blue (the blue dot) while the rest of the state is usually red. I’m in PA. Praying we’re blue.
Maine has split electoral votes. District 2 is a Red District, which counts for 1 electoral vote. District 1 usually goes Blue for 1 electoral vote. and the total state vote is 2 electoral votes. I live in District 2, although I vote Blue it will most probably go Red. The outlook for Maine is most probably, 3 Electoral Votes for Harris 1 Electoral Vote for Trump. I wish Maine could be the total 4 Electoral Votes 😢
Republicans in Nebraska have tried to make us an all or nothing state. We can still have a split vote for this election. Let the people have their vote. If you see one blue dot in the middle of a red sea, that is our District 2.
N. Dakota is red. However, there's also a heavy Native American population there who haven't forgotten Trump's first presidential act was to fast track the DAPL through Standing Rock.
We would love to have you come to Oregon. I live in the rain forest on the No Oregon coast in a small village that yes has Sunday Mkts with local artists and food courts and flower venders, and street musicians etc and we have many many breweries and pot shops yes we probably are considered hippies a moniker I wear proudly as I have always been one. I taught dance and english in small colleges along the coast and it is the most beautiful place on earth. (But keep that under your hat because it's a secret. Oh and if you don't like rain well that's how we stay so green.) Thanks Ellie and you would be welcome here. Already voted Blue all the way . Viva the United States and know most of us Love our Mexican and Canadian neighbors.
I live up here in Maine, and I believe this will be a split 2+2,,, unfortunately the people in rural areas are gung-ho for trump, and even more unfortunately, all my family up here are trumpers. Everytime we drive into our daughter and son-in-laws home, we have to look at a 12 by 10 poster of chump that is on the side of a barn🙃🙄😬🥺
Minnesota here...in NE MN the Harris/Walz signs outnumber the Trump signs. Most people I talk with either say outright they support or have already voted blue. Iowa is farm country, in driving through eastern Iowa to visit my baby girl in Illinois, the signs I see are more evenly split...Iowa might be a surprise. Missouri has the abortion amendment to their state constitution on the ballot this year. In speaking with people from Missouri while visiting my baby girl, some are also sick of the B.S. There could be a surprise here too. Maine and Nebraska split their electoral votes. The district with Omaha went for Biden in 2020. However, Walz was born in Nebraska, I have a feeling this is another surprise. Ellie, it would be interesting to include the U.S. Territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa. These also have electoral votes to be counted. Love it so far! I have Blue 302 so far...but I'm going to go back and check my work. 💙💙💙💙💙
This may be too on the nose but North Carolina was devastated by hurricane Hellene because the mountain towns in the west are built on creeks and rivers between mountains. That's the scene in the picture on the four of cups card. You have the flooded river and the guy with his red cloak walking away towards the blue. A lot of these mountain towns except for Asheville usually vote red. But they were badly victimized by the misinformation around the flood.

Tim Walz is the Governor of MN.
In Nebraska and Maine these are the only 2 states that split their electoral votes who ever wins a district wins that district.
Minnesota hasn’t been red since Nixon (if my memory is correct).
North Carolina is a swing state. It has more big cities that S. Carolina.
Isn't Minnesota where Tim Walz's is governor?
If you are correct the number of seats are blue 314 to red 103 .
Ohio...go Blue ... .likely sick of Vance and Trump .... eating dogs and cats BS.
Nebraska's vote can be split. It is very possible for District 2 in Omaha to go blue. District 2 has 1 electoral vote.
