When two imaginative minds meet each other in an unespected contact and decide to experiment something new with confidence, "good things" often happen.
For me and Fabio, working for an artist like Dominic Miller has been an honour, an important opportunity, but expecially a great journey.
This video is made of many different things: research, project, time, ... and then there's that sense of wonder that I still carry inside of me, like the first time I heard this song.
CONCEPT:
"Me han traído una caracola [...]./ They have brought me a shell [...]."
Federico Garcia Lorca, "Caracola", Canciones (1972)
"Caracola" is a simple and very nostalgic poem: a shell guards the acute memory of the past childhood, the distant homeland, a memory that nonetheless quivers and makes way as a shoal of "little fishes of shadow and silver".
"Caracola" belongs to the anthology "Canciones" (Songs): Garcia Lorca was, besides a poet, a musician who believed that, if words could tell about humanity, then music could express all the power and indefinition of our soul.
Between the recollections of a travel noted down in pencil, nostalgia takes form and tries to come back home. It goes through colours and images that memory has preserved, defying every adversity and capturing all those signs that show along the way, flowing on and on.
