- Hey everybody! WE GOT A CORAL! One of the oldest corals in my display tank. The cabbage!!! These are a great beginner coral but watch out! They are venomous to surrounding corals and can out grow most others. Keep em' at bay and you'll have a beautiful coral growing in your tank.

I used to have a HUGE colony of these guys in my old reef tank! They had a beautiful purple color and covered an entire rock. It was one of the last things to die in the aquarium when the tank dropped to 50 degrees Fahrenheit for a whole night. (Power went out due to the Texas power grid failing during the 2021 freeze, there was nothing I could do, everything died)
Holy cow I remember that freeze! My brother went through it. Scary stuff. That was some of the craziest snow for us down here in the south.
I remember when the light went out that year..my family said it was horrible.
Just wanted to say I never got fully into the hobby until I came across your channel.
Now, I help manage a SW fish store and am constantly finding myself wanting to learn more about the hobby!
Thank you and continue to make these great videos!
I appreciate that so much!! Where is your store located? Happy holidays to you and your family!

Great video as always. Your page is full of great videos. I have a 90g reef tank in my office. I added a toadstool leather 3 weeks ago and it is doing great. I saw a cabbage coral frag at my LFS yesterday. It was a small frag but now I am thinking I will go back next week and purchase. My thoughts I will put at the bottom of my tank in the sand.
That’ll be perfect!
Good job dude like your videos help me decided what to buy just got unit reefing and looking it up
Let me get a piece of that white cabbage 😉😂 I’ll trade some Zoas
Hahahaha DEAL!
Nice Brock it is going to be my next coral 👍
Heck yeah! 🔥
Got a quick question. I got a feather duster. It’s pretty big and was wondering the best way to place him. It’s as long as a pencil and I don’t know if I should put him vertically like a pencil or lay him on his side under the sand with his head popped out of sand?
I usually try to angle them like a slide, with the head being the top of the slide. Bury about 60% of em at a curved angle. Hope this is making sense over text😂
Can we get a video about the Epaulette shark
