Thanks for this. Cruising on this ship on the room just next to the one you showed. I was very certain before seeing this that I would take my manual chair, but perhaps the portable scooter I have will work and save me those carpets.
I was in 6149 back in May which is an accessible inside room. Looked almost exactly like this one. I requested a shower chair rather than the pull down bench, which provided more stability and something to hold onto.
Thanks for sharing a tour of your accessible room on Oasis OTS. I don't understand why the flooring goes up then down in certain areas (entryways). I imagine it's all about safety.
Great video review of the cabin. I'll be on the ship staying in the same cabin and I'm glad I found your review.
That’s great! I’m glad the video helped you. It is a great room and a good spot on the ship too!
@@jessethepara thank you. That's good to know

Yes, the trek from the elevators to the room is sorta/kinda far and can get tiring.

This is because in a normal room a step would be in place of the ramps.
The CARPET though 😤 so hard to wheel on!
Yeah, it’s a little annoying. Especially if you forgot something and need to get back to the room real quick 😂
Ive cruised multipe times in many cabins - all balcony doors are hard to open!! I think it's just a cruise thing.
The anthem of the seas had easier balcony doors. That is also a newer ship too.
Do you know if they updated the door to be automatic door to open the state room anybody?
That I am not sure of. My guess is no because the ship has not been dry docked in a while.
Keep a walker in the bathroom so the handicap person can stand up with safety and. confidence.
