I love how nobody ever gave up on Allmight even if they saw his crippled form. The shouts of hope they all gave despite not seeing the tall, strong, immovable symbol of peace they all know, just seeing a weak man, no one ever stopped believing that he’s the number one, that he’s a real hero. It didn’t matter what he looked like, to them he was still the symbol of peace at heart. And that always makes me emotional.

Animated tv shows consist of fillers and the main story, but to branch the main story out and make the series longer and draw more people in to hype it up. They add fillers to distance the main story and hype everyone up for when the next big fight happens.

It was terrifying during my first watch of this fight when All Might's arm looked just like how Deku's arm did when her first used One For All, for him to use more power than his body can handle, and shatter his arm like it his body wasn't yet used to his quirk, despite having probably two decade's worth, an entire career's worth of use and training. Truly heart breaking to see someone so strong begin to crumble so quickly by one villain.

What also impacted me of this scene is All Might's eyes. The way they convey the message that he's a hero with or without his powers by just showing his eyes glowing is amazing

8:21 the moment allmight's mind changed , he was willing to even give up his life to defeat all for one as the symbol of peace but he knew he had one last duty as Toshinori yagi and that was to raise deku.
All For One could've won this fight so easily. All he needed was the combination Shock Absorb Impact Recoil Springlike Limbs and Air Cannon. All might wouldn't even be able to do any real damage if All For One used impact recoil so 50% of AllMight power went back to him and negate the other 50% with Shock Absorb. Enhance Air Cannon with SpringLike Limbs throw a couple of strength enhancers and kinetic quirks if you want and there you go easy win. He also had super regeneration so he could've regenerated the small percent of damage he took.
The woman left behind at 6:05 that encourages All Might to fight hits differently as a manga reader. The significance of that small moment is underrated.

When I was a little kid I always looked at my father as if he were a super hero. The ultimate super hero. All the things he would do and all the wisdom he had it was impossible for me not to believe he was Superman. As I got older I knew he wasn’t super hero he was just like any other man but the difference is he was my father. Fast forward to today. Now that I am a father myself to a 1 year old. The reality sets in that now it’s my turn to be a super hero. And knowing I have to be a super hero scares the hell out of me only because I know I’m just like any other man out there. There’s nothing special about me. I have done a lot of good things and a lot of bad things in my life. Sometimes well a lot of the times I don’t think I’m ready. But then I look in my daughters eyes and I see her smile and hear her laugh and hear her say dada… And I think to myself. I have to be a super hero. Now it all circles back to my father. And the realization of the fact that he sacrificed everything for all 3 of his kids and at 62 years old continues to be our super hero. And continues to be my role model on the man I want to and have to be for my daughter. With that being said. All Might is the perfect example of how I used to imagine my father to be. And the father I have to be for my daughter. I say all this to say. All Might is the father we all deserve. ❤️

I just realized what all might really meant when he told deku next time it's your turn. I used to think he meant that he's next to fight all for one. That too, but the bigger picture of what he was really saying was that the next time their is a threat that no other hero can stop, and every time after that, it's his turn to step in and handle it cause he has nothing left after this fight.
This fight is so amazing, it showed the ideals of a hero, and it really explained the symbol of peace so well. It was a fight of ideals, soul and spirit. It makes you realize how great All Might really is.

The greatest All Might has been in the series. This is when he truly showed why he was a symbol to all. He inspires hope in all who see him. It didn’t matter what he looked like, no one lost faith in him. One of if not my favorite anime character of all time
When his theme kicked in and you saw all for one defeated in the ground I couldn’t even explain the adrenaline rush I got and the tears that started flowing down my face. This fight will truly go down as one of the best anime scenes in history, you’re so into the shows moment that you feel like one of the people in the crowd cheering.
This fight made me feel sorry for shigaraki because he just lost the only person that took care of him after everything that happened, especially the moment where he yelled 'No!'.
Got me sobbing like a baby. Such a beautiful showdown indeed. Began watching MHA on a whim and never intended to 'get into' the series but the characters got me hooked.
I tear up EVERY time I watch this after a while of not seeing it. The context of fighting for freedom while using moves named after the United States. Then when he wins the day and tells the next generation its their turn to fight for liberty. It's too good. When I see Allmight going all out with the last embers of his youth, I hope I can do the same. Then I am moved by Midoria who receives the torch, humbled, afraid, but more than willing. It's too cool. It's this scene that cemented my love for this show.

When this episode came out, I really thought All Might was about to die. It was giving you that feeling that this is the last we see of him, but after I saw that I was incorrect. However, not fully, because it wasn't the last we see of him in general (dying), but rather the last we see HIM fighting evil as the ray of light that encompassed humanities hope for survival.

I always loved how all for one sounds like he's holding his laugther and smiles constantly, and i like it even better that the varius characters are actualy freaked out by this, like hawks pointing out "isn't that guy always smiling?".
It always gave me an idea that he either loves that much to figth with peoples that are as strong as him or he just doesn't care about what is going on around him

When this episode came out, I really thought All Might was about to die. It was giving you that feeling that this is the last we see of him, but after I saw that I was incorrect. However, not fully, because it wasn't the last we see of him in general (dying), but rather the last we see HIM fighting evil as the ray of light that encompassed humanities hope for survival.
