Hey Coy, I don’t really comment much on videos but I wanna give you a shout out on your content. I love the way you’re so passionate about comics, movies and characters. You’re a perfect reason why I enjoy reviews and your deep thought analysis on different topics. Keep it up!
@@c-mchow is a show that most people expected to be pointless filler but ended up to be beloved, a “let down”? Unless you’re a superfan of the Agatha character that didn’t get the Agatha comic lore that you wanted?
Coy enjoying the content and this video. If you ever need an idea for another video perhaps make one where you list the best single episode of each Disney+ MCU series and why. I have never seen anyone put together that list and think it would be interesting commentary. Later!
Super glad I found your channel! I remember seeing you on The Breakroom and it was really cool hearing your perspectives, I haven’t hit subscribe that fast in a long time 😂 🤝
Great ranking! Basically agree, though I’m a big Hawkeye lover. It may hurt to see things I love lower on the list, but seeing things I liked less higher on the list is actually something I like a lot, shows that the show resonated a lot with others, and I love when people enjoy things! Sad that there’s some complainers in the comments, like always.
While I may disagree with some of rankings, I do appreciate the fact that you keep an open mind and are willing to let a series win you over even after a slow start
I am now going to grab my best friend and debate the top 12s and come up with our versions. This is why I love your channel, the encouragement to engage and try out new IP. PS Dune is my favourite IP ever (all the books, Movies, TV etc), so you know I’m gonna be glued to Dune Prophecy and then check out your take. Thank you for all you do - and the way you do it.
@ It’s funny how a small something I was thinking then decided to actually post gave joy … and then was reciprocated, and suddenly it’s a good day all round 😊
It was great to see you warm up more and more to Agatha. I always enjoy your comic book enthusiasm, especially when it’s something in the MCU I also talk enthusiastically about.
It is very rare for me to care to rewatch something, especially back to back. I rewatched Agatha, and it was like a whole new feel to the show. I actually enjoyed it more, knowing that it can feel like two stories depending on knowing the twists at the end. You just might consider Agatha an A after a rewatch :)
Painfully accurate about Secret Invasion... I was so excited about it and it went downhill... It felt like Maria Hill's death (one of my fav characters btw) was a complete waste
The Guardians Holiday Special and Werewolf by Night were up there with the best D+ projects. Shame Disney isn't doing more specials. Wandavision and Loki were the best shows, but I'm still waiting for something as great as the best MCU movies or Netflix Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Punisher.
I think Agatha all along took the top spot for me. Wandavision is down to my second favorite now. I feel that Agatha had better pacing than Wandavision. Wandavision was really slow in the beginning. Not to mention Agatha all along really weaved together relatively unknown characters in to a truly magically dynamic series.
Idk I’m not gonna choose a favorite between the twins like that 😂 I think WandaVision ended with genuinely learned lessons. Shame multiverse ruined it….
The experience of watching Wandavision will never ever be beat! Like ever. And if you take away all the fan theories from UA-cam and focuse on just the story the show was telling it is perfect. It’s perfect. Everything about Wandavision is so well planned and perfect. It’s the only show I woke up to watch the 3:00 A.M. drops. The episode with Wanda’s whole backstory. The episode when Wanda leaves the hex to confront Sword. The theme song openings. Like just so much
I keep forgetting that Secret Invasion was even a thing. And that's probably the most damning thing about it. They spent more than $200 million on the show and I barely even remember it.
legitimately beautiful, and I think accurate, soliloquy regarding Loki and how it discusses and really glorifies the importance of stories and connection.
My number 1 is still WandaVision. It is truly that good. The writing, the mystery, the cast of characters. It made me fall in love with the MCU and easily made Wanda my favorite character
As always great video. Enjoyed hearing your list and the reasons for it. I think my top 3 are the same as yours but I enjoyed Moon Knight so much that it would be 4 for me.
My personal opinion: 1.Loki 2.Wandavision 3.MoonKnight (I agree that last episode was a let down but the acting and episode 5 were phenomenal) 4.Agatha All Along 5. X-Men 6.Hawkeye 7.MsMarvel 8.What If 9.FWS 10.She HUlk 11.Echo 12.Secret Invasion
Great list Coy, thanks for doing these rankings I love how positive you are even if you don't like it. Agatha continued the great stuff from Wandavision so that's why I love it so much: 1. Wandavision 2. Loki 3. X-Men 97 4. Agatha All Along 5. Falcon and The Winter Soilder 6. Moon knight 7. Hawkeye 8. Ms.Marvel 9. Echo 10. She-Hulk 11. What If 12. Secret Invasion
I agree for the most part. I think She-Hulk gets more hate than it deserves. I felt more comic accurate than a lot of other marvel projects. They took a lot more risks and it paid off for me. I also agree that the middle of the season was a bit eh. But Moon Knight is a freakin' stand out for me. I'm not a cinemaphile and even I know that the acting on there was at another level.
Just subscribed Coy. I have been a fan of yours since the Marvel Movie News days and knew then that you would do well. I hope to see you do more interviews, I always thought you were a great interviewer. Congratulations on all your success. Happy for you
Thanks for this great video. It changed some of my thoughts on these shows. But on Agatha I loved from the beginning. I agree on episode 5 though. I hope next shows will be as good as this show is.
Pretty reasonable ranking. Most of us would have ranked Agatha higher but I respect your opinion and I admit that I wasn’t sold on those first few episodes.
Nice ranking! Here's mine: (Have not seen all episodes of Echo yet) 9. Secret Invasion (I can't think of anything I liked about this show 😢) 8. She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany was charming, but the story was really bad in my opinion) 7. Ms. Marvel (Great beginning, bad middle, okay ending. Iman Vellani is fantastic though!) 6. Moon Knight (good show, there's just other stuff I prefer) 5. Falcon & The Winter Soldier (great show, but this is not how you stick the landing) 4. Wandavision (once again, this is not how you stick the landing) 3. Agatha All Along (I'm very surprised, this IS how you stick the landing) 2. Hawkeye (the most underated MCU series, 'cause it's so good!) 1. Loki (Love it!) Thoughts on the Hawkeye series: - Renner and Steinfeld are such a cool duo. - The action is great and it's so cool to see all the trick arrows being used. -I love all the nods and connections to the Avengers movies. The memorial at the bridge is so bittersweet, and seeing Bartons reaction, the musical number is funny but also sad in an intentionally mocking way at the same time which is good for the story, and lastly the flashbacks are really interesting as we get to see how Bartons time as an Avengers has really taken it's toll on him and how it's affecting his family. - The flashbacks to Bartons time as Ronin were so cool. - The larp-team subplot was a lot of fun as I've done som larping myself. - Lucky the pizza dog is the best good boy in the world! - Seeing Yelena again and how the aftermath of Natashas death has affected her and Barton was heartbreaking. - The only thing I really didn't like was that they turned Swordmaster into a red herring. - I even liked the Kingpin reveal, and it becomes even better if you watch the first 30 mins of Echo ep.1. I actually think it's good that they took a different approach with him this time, as he should be struggling to get by after Daredevil s.3. That's why we see him working with smaller criminals like the tracksuit maffia instead of seeing him at the peak of his criminal power.
From the point of view of pure personal taste, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier remains my favorite. It's a comfort series, which I can watch on any occasion and never get tired of. But if I have to be a little more critical and objective, my ranking would be: - Loki (S1 and S2) - X Men 97 - Agatha All Along - Wandavision - Falcon and the Winter Soldier - Moon knight - Hawkeye - What if...? (S1 and S2) - She Hulk - Miss Marvel - Echo - Secret invasion
I love this video so much! Hearing your passion (especially when speaking of Loki) is the kind of thing we need more of! Can we clone you? We need more Coys! Here would be my ranking: 1: Loki 2: WandaVision 3: Agatha All Along 4: X-Men '97 5: She Hulk Attorney At Law 6: What If...? 7: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 8: Hawkeye 9: Ms. Marvel 10: Moon Knight 11: Echo 12: Secret Invasion
Thanks you for sharing your list coy really appreciate your POV. Our lists are pretty similar I have wandavison, Loki, and Agatha all along as my top 3
My Ranking: (I haven't seen She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and TFAWS in a minute so they may be higher/lower) Loki Wandavision Agatha All Along X-Men 97 Hawkeye What If...? Moon Knight Ms. Marvel The Falcon and The Winter Soldier She-Hulk Echo Secret Invasion
I think I'd rank them like this: 1. Loki 2. Agatha 3. Wandavision 4. Moon Knight 5. Ms. Marvel 6. Falcon and Winter Soldier 7. She Hulk 8. Echo 9. Hawkeye 10. Secret Invasion - DNF I'm not putting Xmen or What If on there because they're a different thing but I really love Xmen and What If is decent fun. I'd love to put Moon Knight higher but the finale was pretty bad. I hope the character appears with Midnight Sun's though, along with Jennifer Kale and maybe Ghost Agatha. Echo would be lower but Vincent Dinafrio is almost always great as that character (Hawkeye excepted). I enjoyed She Hulk more than average and DD was great to see again. Falcon and Winter Soldier could have been so great but fell apart in the second half. Still looking forward to the new Cap movie though and I think Anthony Mackie is a worthy successor to the shield.
You’re the only other person that’s said that about Ms marvel for why you love the show. It’s exactly everything I’ve missed from Spiderman in the MCU.
Marvel Disney+ TV Series are really fun. I will always have a soft spot for Marvel’s Agent of Shield. But what they are doing, I am very interested. Especially interested to see how much of Daredevil Born Again will tie into the Netflix Daredevil Series. I saw your reviews on the Agatha All Along Series; what’s your thoughts on how Wandavision and Agatha All Along. Which are both witchcraft/magic based shows could tie into the potential tech focused Vision Quest Show
Love your list and analysis, Coy! Here’s mine: Loki WandaVision X-Men ‘97 Falcon and Winter Soldier Hawkeye Moon Knight Echo Agatha All Along Ms. Marvel Secret Invasion She Hulk What If
It’s the way I was so excited to watch moon Knight when it first came out and then each episode I kept falling asleep during. It was such a hard show to get through for me and it’s unfortunate because I recognize how amazing Oscar Isaac acting was and I do want to eventually go back and rewatch it cause I think I’ll have a newfound appreciation, but the first view being that difficult to get through is always gonna put it pretty low on my list.
Theres some questionable comments but love this video! Marvels disney shows are a widespreas when it comes to quality but nonetheless the ones that work.. they WORK, as clearly shown in Agatha All Along
My number 1 is definitely Loki as well, loved the story telling and everything that happened. Number 2 might be falcon and winter soldier just cause it has grown on me over the years and rn number 3 has to be Agatha cause the ending was so different from most of the other marvel shows and I loved how it just progressed her story from wandavision and you could never tell if she was truly evil or what her main goals were besides power… 4 is now wandavision and 5 actually might be Hawkeye cause I love a good Christmas story
I personally believe "X-Men '97" deserves to be considered an MCU show at this point, simply because it was produced and promoted as part of the primary Marvel Studios banner, albeit under Animation. While it's not part of the Sacred Timeline, I personally consider it to be part of the wider Multiverse, especially considering the appearance of The Watcher in Episode 5. But I digress... Great list! Obviously, everyone's got their own list and not everyone agrees, but I love hearing different takes and explanations. For me personally (and I'm going to include the Marvel Studios-produced specials and shorts unofficially in place)... 1. X-Men '97 2. Loki 3. Agatha All Along 4. Werewolf by Night 5. Moon Knight 6. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 7. What If...? 8. WandaVision 9. Ms. Marvel 10. Hawkeye 11. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special 12. Echo 13. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 14. Secret Invasion 15. I Am Groot
My personal favourite D+ Marvel show is The falcon and the winter soldier. Just my opinion, Loki is a close second, but Loki as a character isn’t even in my top 50 for marvel comics. I love Captain America stories and I just found more joy out of seeing a captain America sequel rather than a Loki one. Just my opinion. I’m aware Loki is more favourited.
Love your videos Coy! It's certainly cool how a show could transform your perspective so drastically - it definitely takes something special to have that kind of effect. Unfortunately for me, it didn't stick the landing as neatly. I certainly love the each twist for Agatha and Billy revealed with the finale, but unfortunately I felt it opened up some plot-holes (without giving away the twist, my main issue being in ep 8 where Agatha and Rio, the two people that know the truth before the rest of the characters, and us as the viewer, discuss privately the situation while pretending they don't know what is the reality) and, for me, changed my feelings about some of the previous episodes in a negative way. Overall, still a surprise to me when I had low expectations for the show! Here's my ranking (excluding X-men '97 since I thought it wasn't MCU and I'm waiting to finish the original series before watching) 1: Loki 2: WandaVision 3: Hawkeye 4: Moon Knight 5: Ms Marvel 6: Agatha All Along 7: What if...? 8: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 9: Echo 10: Secret Invasion 11: She-Hulk
Here's my MCU show ranking (Seasons separated): 1) Loki S2 2) Loki S1 3) Moon Knight 4) Wandavision 5) Falcon & the Winter Soldier 6) Hawkeye 7) Agatha All Along 8) What If S2 9) Echo 10) Secret Invasion 11) Ms. Marvel 12) What If S1 13) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
8:44 Too relatable, reminded of nightmares when I had to attend meetings on zoom. I agree with you about She Hulk, though the last couple episodes did not felt enjoyable, I loved the fourth wall break itself. Though the biggest difference between our opinions is on WV, I couldn't sit through more episodes of what felt like an eternity for a reveal that I can see coming from the trailers and Agatha sounds like a fun time but the first episode from what you said reminds me of WV which is a hard climb for me
Pretty good list. My own has a few diferences 1) Loki 2) X-men 97 3) Wandavision 4) What if 5) Hawkeye 6) Agatha All Along (still have to watch the last 2 eps) 7) Ms Marvel 8) Moon Knight 9) Falcon and the Winter Soldier 10) She Hulk 11)Echo 12)Secret Invasion
As much as I have liked most of the marvel shows I was very burnt out like 2 yrs ago, and I didn't watch some of them like Echo and the last half of secret invasion. I still wanted to be excited for these shows as the MCU as a whole is so special to me with these stories and with comic books in general. I respect your list a lot, Coy! I totally agree with Loki being at #1. That show means a lot to me.
My list Paired off ones I considered at the same level List goes from low to high She Hulk / Secret Invasion Echo / What If…? Falcon and Winter Soldier / Hawkeye Loki / Moonknight Ms Marvel / WandaVision Agatha All Along 🥇 X-Men '97
I always like your rankings, they're honest and show true love for the comics. Anyway, my ranking would be something like that. 1. Loki 2. Ms Marvel 3. WandaVision 4. Agatha All Along 5. Echo 6. She-Hulk 7. Hawkeye 8. Moon Knight 9. What If? 10. Falcon and the Winter Soldier 11. Secret Invasion I feel that I have to explain why Moon Knight is so low in my ranking (it would be last if it didn't have Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke creating some magic). Yes, the ending was a punchy mess but I could forgive that, the way I did with WandaVision, what I couldn't forgive were the historical inaccuracies. It's not that I want my comic book shows to be factual and rooted in reality but when you make it your point that a character is a history nerd, then the said nerd finds the grave of a real historical figure and he proceeds to read an inscription in a language that never existed you lose me. It's a detail I know but it really spoiled the whole fun for me. I wish there will be a season 2, with better writers, because the character (and Oscar Isaac) deserves it...
Have some vastly different picks but can totally understand your choices with the explanations given and are very valid. Mine would be: 1. Wandavision 2. Agatha All Along 3. Hawkeye 4. X-Men 97 5. Loki 6. Falcon & Winter Soldier 7. What If? 8. Ms Marvel 9. Moon Knight 10. She Hulk 11. Echo 12. Secret Invasion
I like this style of video because it feels like the BTS version with the pause between each show that would usually be cut out. I'm excited to see your take on the Dune series. It looks like it'll be interesting and I'm a huge fan going back to junior high when a friend put me on to the first book. But I'm a little concerned because it's based on a book by Brian Herbert, the son of Frank Herbert, and Kevin J Anderson, a Star Wars EU author. Those two set out in 1999 to finish the 7th Dune novel that Frank Herbert passed away before completing, but first wrote a bunch of other stories in that universe that didn't at all live up to Frank's level. Admittedly, I only made it through 1.5 of their books before giving up and this story was like the 10th, so maybe they improved. In any case, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that even if the source material is substandard the show will turn out good.
My Disney+ ranking: 1. Loki 2. Moon Knight 3. Ms. Marvel 4. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 5. What If 6. WandaVision 7. Secret Invasion 8. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 9. Agatha All Along 10. Echo 11. I Am Groot 12. Hawkeye
Hawkeye is in my top five. 1)X-Men 97, 2) Agatha All Along, 3) Loki, 4) Hawkeye, 5) WandaVision. Unlike some, I have enjoyed most of the Marvel shows. Echo, Ms Marvel, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, She Hulk and Moon Knight was other faves.
Glad you came around to Agatha. I remember you saying it was well made, just not for you. Echo is about 20 years old. Obviously far below the golden/silver age stuff, but still.
I love you list Coy, even tho u didn't like the show u still watched it and u also gave all judgement with all the elements of the show But for my personal list is more like 1. Loki 1&2 2. Wandavision 3. Moonknight 4. Agatha all along 5. Ms marvel 6. Falcon and Winter Soldier 7. Hawkeye 8. What If 9. Echo 10. She Hulks 11. Secret Invasion I'm not rate X-Men 97 on the list, but i love that show, probably at top 3
I always enjoy your lists Coy, thanks. For me personally, Agatha is easily the top marvel tv show of all time (not just MCU…marvel) and it is running away from the pack. Dropping a top twelve list of mine here of MCU shows in my opinion (Netflix Daredevil would be #2 on my list if I expanded beyond official MCU) 1. Agatha All Along 2. X-Men 97 3. Wandavision 4. Loki 5. Moon Knight 6. Echo 7. She-Hulk 8. Hawkeye 9. Falcon & The Winter Soldier 10. Ms. Marvel 11. What If? 12. Secret Invasion And I genuinely really like all 12 of these. Even the #11 thing on this list is higher on my overall MCU list than like half of the movies.
"I love that they let native america be a character without being pandering". I agree specially when they switched original powers of Echo from being a mimic fighter qnd basically the counterpoint to Daredevil (that is what brings then together), to be a channel of native american alien energy channeling. 😅😅😅
1. Loki 2. WandaVision 3. Moon Knight 4. X-Men 97 5. Agatha All Along 6. Ms. Marvel 7. Falcon and The Winter Soldier 8. Hawkeye 9. Echo 10. She Hulk 11. What If 12. Secret Invasion
I think I would argue that X-Men 97 isn't an MCU show. Unless I missed something, it doesn't seem to link into the MCU in any way. I do agree that it is a super strong show, and if you were to rank it in this list, it's in the right place.
It brings up the idea of an Absolute Point, first introduced in What If...?, and in episode 5, we see the shadow of the Watcher in the sky. It's also listed in the Multiverse Saga on Disney+, even if not directly part of the MCU. But if we want to get technical, the Spider-Verse films and Deadpool and Wolverine, despite having multiverse connections to the MCU, aren't actually MCU films, the same way X-Men 97 isn't an MCU show but has connections to the MCU.
@@ArtPlaysGames u did miss him but The Watcher also appeared in 2 episodes of the original X-men Animated series too so u could make an argument either way.
Bigots seem to think that saying something is bad makes it bad. Not one thinks about the artistry or writing. Subjectively and objectively well executed
Also, I followed your channel when it was a barely active little thing , and I gotta say I miss it sometimes cause all the new members are bringing in more a**holes. 😂
You should do a video of ranking every mcu project (movies and shows). I'm curious about where you place Loki in relation to Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. I think they are neck and neck.
1. X-Men 97 2. Loki 3. Moon Knight 4. Wandavision 5. Agatha All Along 6. What If 7. Ms Marvel 8. Hawkeye 9. Echo 10. Falcon & Winter Soldier 11. Secret Invasion 12. She Hulk Including Agatha All Along, it sucks that almost all of these shows with the exception of the bottom 2 I would consider “Good, but the ending was meh”. The only shows with a solid ending to me was X-Men 97 and Loki. I’ve been surprised at the good response to Agatha’s ending. Felt Aubrey Plaza was severely underutilized and I felt the ending was extremely unsatisfying. None of what I was expecting to be resolved was really resolved.
Secret Invation.... same. At the bottom of the list. HOWEVER... there moments i liked. The train scene. Good writing and the actors killed it. Sadly the list of things i LIKED is very VERY short when it comes to that show.
12. Secret Invasion 11. What If 10. Echo 9. Mz Marvel 8. She Hulk 7. TFATWS 6. Hawkeye 5. Agatha All Along 4. Moon Knight 3.5 Wanda Vision 3. Loki season 2 2.X-men 97 1. Loki season 1
Love your list and wish i could break my own down more lol anything top 11 i could rewatch over and over, i think everything bar 12 is great..... 12. Secret invasion (obvious) 11. Echo (really suprised it was so good) 10. What if (season 2 trying to ram home captain carter got old) 9. X/men 97 (love the show just didnt love it as a kid so i had a bit of disconnection) 8. Agatha (the show we apparently didnt want, but the show we needed!) 7. Hawkeye (wouldve been top 5 without the kingpin abuse, im a big netflix daredevil guy and him losing to kate bishop was unacceptable! Lol) 6. Ms Marvel (biggest suprise on the list, she was born for this role!) 5. Wandavision (event tv at its finest, unreal acting, wouldve been top 3 without the ralph bonher joke 😂) 4. She Hulk (i generally found this show hilarious, the daredevil episode might be the best mcu episode of anything tied with ep 7 of agatha, and i loved the 4th wall break finale!) 3. Moon Knight (I'm very much a Moon Knight guy, all that was missing was a more mature tv rating and time with the 3rd personality, need S2 NOW!) 2. Falcon Winter Soldier (Captain America is my guy, i love this show and if the flag smashers where better villians couldve got top spot, John Walker is one of the best new Characters from phase 4) 1. Loki (had to be, both seasons have been unreal, best supporting cast, and the s2 finale sets up everything going forward) Love the video Coy! ❤
1.Loki 2.Wandavision 3.Agatha all along 4.X-men 97 5.Hawkeye 6.Moon knight 7.what if 8.Ms. marvel 9.Falc and winter 10.Secret invasion 11.Echo 12.She halk💚 Happy you stayed in there with Agatha Coy
Without getting into much explanation, or any explanation (I tend to ramble), I'll merely give my own ranking. 1. Loki - I'm not sure I can think of a narrative flaw with the show. 2. X-Men 97 - Same here, but... The score and cinematography of Loki put it just higher. 3. Falcon and the Winter Soldier - It's not perfect, but it's damn good, and it's a shame it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. 4. Moon Knight - Basically the same with number 3, but the finale being as short as it was did hurt the landing just a tad more. 5. What If...? - Season 1, episode 3, and all of season 2 put it this high up. 6. Agatha All Along - So... Technically I've ranked this lower than you did, Coy, but I think I enjoyed it more than you did, because I was into it from the very first episode. And while I couldn't really catch any of the references to anything, I feel the mysteries and questions and answers of this show are much better written and planned out than its predecessor. It wasn't so smart that you could only notice all the clues upon a second viewing, the way it revealed its answers, sometimes showing previous scenes in a new light not thought to be connected to the mysteries, was phenomenal. 7. WandaVision - I liked all the answers to the questions raised in this show. I didn't even mind that Evan Peters was a Bohner joke and not Quicksilver. But the answers provided, while good, were often hidden. Wanda's behavior was contradictory throughout, and it's unclear if that was to throw off the audience, or because she herself was blocking out the knowledge that she was controlling things. But, I did actually enjoy the finale quite a bit. Specifically the battle between Wanda and Agatha. Wanda immediately picking up the tips Agatha unintentionally gave to her to beat Agatha was perfect. 8. Echo - It had some pacing issues throughout, but the storytelling and performances were solid. Not sure what else to say. 9. Ms. Marvel - Iman Vellani is a gem. The story... Kinda falls apart in the middle. And... We get TWO finale episodes? That's weird. 10. Hawkeye - If not for Iman Vellani, this WOULD be higher. Because I thoroughly enjoy every element of this show. Clint's relationship with his family, Kate Bishop just being Hailee Steinfeld (or is the pther way around?), Yelena is a gem as always (as is Florence Pugh), Jack is a fun character even if he's a fake out villain, and Kingpin does feel like Daredevil Kingpin to me, despite dressing differently. From the strength, to the rage, to the intensity of his calm, but serious warnings. It was the best way for him to return to the MCU. 11. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - I also enjoyed this show immensely. I think all the reactions to the show calling it woke or saying the people who made the show hate men, or that the characters in the show hate men clearly missed the point of the show, misinterpreted the point of the show, or are upset because they're the type of the people the show was (rightly) making fun of. I wasn't initially super positive on this show, but I've grown on it upon rewatch, and it's a fun time. And if Marvel doesn't bring back She-Hulk, then I wish Tatiana Maslany the best of luck in Star Trek. 12. Secret Invasion - Okay... I... Actually kinda liked this show? It has more problems than any other show when it comes to pacing and writing, but... I can't hate it. The behind the scenes drama is just too interesting for me to hate what the show ended up being because of it. The last three episodes, assuming early reports of the show having 6 hour long episodes being correct, had at least 20 minutes cut from each episode (if not MORE). The complete restructuring and rewriting of the show after Ali Selim came on fucked up a lot of shit. The Ukraine War-- Sorry, the Russian War Cimes, likely caused them to cut some elements of the plotlines out. Then removing Gravik's motivation was likely part of that, and I find that insane. I watced the Marvel Studios Assembled episode of the show. I know what his motivation is. WHY ISN'T IT IN THE SHOW? WHY DOESN'T NICK FURY TELL HIM WHY HE NEVER FOUND A HOME FOE THE SKRULLS?! WHY DO I HAVE TO RELY ON BEHIND THE SCENES CONTENT TO ANSWER THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS OF THE SHOW?! And why does Marvel constantly make villains who, in order to support their own, selfish means, co-opt progressive (and correct) ideals in order to start a movement? Maximus? He's a victim of injustice and oppression, and wants revenge rather than reformation. Karli Morgenthau? She's a victim of beurocratic decisions that forced many people who were left during the blip into homelessness and poverty (intentionally), and she wants revenge rather than reformation. You can maybe argue for Karli somewhat. Violent revolution has been effective, if not necessary, in the past. But the show wasn't trying to paint her in a sympathetic light when she did so, it intentionally tried to paint her as a villain. Until she died. Then they tried to go the sympathetic route. Gravik? Uh... Well, his people, who are war refugees and the subject of galactic oppression were promised by a trusted ally that they would eventually have a new home, and in exchange, all they had to do why spy for him. But he either lied to them and used them, or didn't tell them that he couldn't find a home. And one of them, Gravik, who was essentially his son, was taught nothing but violence from him. And feeling abandoned by him, feeling betrayed, he sought revenge... BY KILLING EVERY HUMAN ON THE PLANET AND TAKING EARTH FOR THEMSELVES? What the fuck, Marvel? Jesus Christ, can you NOT write good progressive villains? Not even Killmonger was a good progressive villain. He was more understandable and sympathetic than Karli Morgenthau, but he still wanted to go the genocidal route of Gravik. So far, Magneto in X-Men 97 is the ONLY time a progressive villain has been well written, because it doesn't shy away from depicting humanity for the disgusting, hateful race of slime that it is. Oh, yeah, to be clear, villains are supposed to be bad. I was using the word good there to mean well written. I probably should have just said well written. Because if a villain, who is supportive of progressive policies and ideology, is well written, then they'll have a point. They can arguably be seen as the hero of the story, even if they are objectively causing harm to people. But time and time again, Marvel has FAILED to write such villains. Even Dar-Benn from The Marvels, who is justifiably angry with Captain Marvel, chooses not to hold her accountable for the destruction of her planet as the result of a Civil War she inadvertently caused, but to steal the resources of other peoples and planets that Captain Marvel holds dear. Why? Carol restores their sun at the end, and had shown remorse for what she did to the Kree throughout the film. They could have just held her accountable and made her help. She would have done so willingly. But they don't do that, and it pisses me off. Okay... I started rambling after Secret Invasion. This is why I DIDN'T want to get into much detail. But for Secret Invasion, I just couldn't help it.
Hey Coy, I don’t really comment much on videos but I wanna give you a shout out on your content. I love the way you’re so passionate about comics, movies and characters. You’re a perfect reason why I enjoy reviews and your deep thought analysis on different topics. Keep it up!
We didn’t hate you for not loving Agatha from the get-go Coy! We were just a bit frustrated… passionately that’s all! 🤪
Agatha was a let down for the most part
@@c-mc said nobody, ever.
@@c-mchow is a show that most people expected to be pointless filler but ended up to be beloved, a “let down”? Unless you’re a superfan of the Agatha character that didn’t get the Agatha comic lore that you wanted?
Why discount others opinions?
@@Bleepurchin i mean i thought the show wasnt that good either....
Holy moly you look absolutely stacked, doorways must be a challenge lol
Even if I disagree with you, you’re so great at getting your points across and your positivity is amazing. Thanks coy
Always the goal’ appreciate that!
Coy enjoying the content and this video.
If you ever need an idea for another video perhaps make one where you list the best single episode of each Disney+ MCU series and why. I have never seen anyone put together that list and think it would be interesting commentary. Later!
1. Wandavision
2. Loki
3. Agatha all along
4. Moonknight
5. Xmen 97
6. Hawkeye
7. Ms.Marvel
8. What If
9. Falcon & Winter Soldier
10. Echo
11. She-Hulk (loved it until the finale)
12. Secret invasion
:) this comment made my day.
Thank you.
@ It’s funny how a small something I was thinking then decided to actually post gave joy … and then was reciprocated, and suddenly it’s a good day all round 😊
1. Wandavision
2. Loki
3. Moonknight
4. Agatha All Along
5. Echo
6. Secret Invasion
7. Ms. Marvel
8. Falcon & Winter Soldier
9. Hawkeye
10. She-Hulk
Haven't watched the animated shows
It was great to see you warm up more and more to Agatha. I always enjoy your comic book enthusiasm, especially when it’s something in the MCU I also talk enthusiastically about.
You were so respectful of everyone’s opinions and very fair with your points at the beginning of Agatha, I can’t believe you got so much hate for that
It is very rare for me to care to rewatch something, especially back to back.
Idk I’m not gonna choose a favorite between the twins like that 😂
I think WandaVision ended with genuinely learned lessons.
Don't remember Secret Invasion is actually a good thing.
legitimately beautiful, and I think accurate, soliloquy regarding Loki and how it discusses and really glorifies the importance of stories and connection.
My personal opinion:
1.Loki
2.Wandavision
3.MoonKnight (I agree that last episode was a let down but the acting and episode 5 were phenomenal)
4.Agatha All Along
5. X-Men
6.Hawkeye
7.MsMarvel
8.What If
9.FWS
10.She HUlk
11.Echo
12.Secret Invasion
I think its cool Mrs Marvel is so high on your list. I need to check it out again
It’s a good series that falls short of great due to wonky pacing and really bad villains. The character deserves more.
Coy, you are the best. I never grew up reading comics but you make it so easy for me to catch up. Keep growing bro ❤
Great list Coy, thanks for doing these rankings I love how positive you are even if you don't like it. Agatha continued the great stuff from Wandavision so that's why I love it so much:
1. Wandavision
2. Loki
3. X-Men 97
4. Agatha All Along
5. Falcon and The Winter Soilder
6. Moon knight
7. Hawkeye
8. Ms.Marvel
9. Echo
10. She-Hulk
11. What If
12. Secret Invasion
could switch those two IMO but I like it.
I feel like I'd still like to rewatch Hawkeye during Christmas
Solid choice!
I rewatched it last Christmas, and it's definitely good for it!
I've been waiting for an updated video of your MCU TV ranking. 😊
thank goodness, I was waiting for the next Coy's Comic Corner then surprised to see it here. Good content mate!
Coy is at the top of my channel rankings! Thanks for the content
Just subscribed Coy. I have been a fan of yours since the Marvel Movie News days and knew then that you would do well. I hope to see you do more interviews, I always thought you were a great interviewer. Congratulations on all your success. Happy for you
The only changes I’d make to your list is I’d have She-Hulk and Falcon & Winter Soldier swap spots. Other than that, completely agree.
As a nerd of color and a marvel fan, i love to discover your channel. The way you discribe every single series was awesome. Couldn't agree more!
Damn you look great man, I rlly liked the decoration of your room. also nice ranking.
Bro, your videos are amazing! And you have so much knowledge which is great and goes along with the comic book shows
The funny thing that AAA’s budget is ONLY 40 mil compared to the other that has budget over 170++ mil
Great list and Loki is my fav so far as well
Thanks!
Here's mine:
(Have not seen all episodes of Echo yet)
9. Secret Invasion (I can't think of anything I liked about this show 😢)
8. She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany was charming, but the story was really bad in my opinion)
7. Ms. Marvel (Great beginning, bad middle, okay ending. Iman Vellani is fantastic though!)
6. Moon Knight (good show, there's just other stuff I prefer)
5. Falcon & The Winter Soldier (great show, but this is not how you stick the landing)
4. Wandavision (once again, this is not how you stick the landing)
3. Agatha All Along (I'm very surprised, this IS how you stick the landing)
2. Hawkeye (the most underated MCU series, 'cause it's so good!)
1. Loki (Love it!)
Thoughts on the Hawkeye series:
- Renner and Steinfeld are such a cool duo.
But if I have to be a little more critical and objective, my ranking would be:
- Loki (S1 and S2)
- X Men 97
- Agatha All Along
- Wandavision
- Falcon and the Winter Soldier
- Moon knight
- Hawkeye
- What if...? (S1 and S2)
- She Hulk
- Miss Marvel
- Echo
- Secret invasion
I’m into that
I love this video so much! Hearing your passion (especially when speaking of Loki) is the kind of thing we need more of! Can we clone you? We need more Coys!
Here would be my ranking:
1: Loki
2: WandaVision
3: Agatha All Along
4: X-Men '97
5: She Hulk Attorney At Law
6: What If...?
7: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
8: Hawkeye
9: Ms. Marvel
10: Moon Knight
11: Echo
12: Secret Invasion
Thanks you for sharing your list coy really appreciate your POV. Our lists are pretty similar I have wandavison, Loki, and Agatha all along as my top 3
Wow your ranking was very well-explained.
My Ranking: (I haven't seen She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and TFAWS in a minute so they may be higher/lower)
Loki
Wandavision
Agatha All Along
X-Men 97
Hawkeye
What If...?
Moon Knight
Ms. Marvel
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
She-Hulk
Echo
Secret Invasion
Great list. 1. Loki 2. Hawkeye 3. Wandavision 4. Falcon 5. X men 6. Agatha 7. Moonlight 8. Mrs marvel 9. What if 10. She Hulk 11. Echo 12. Secret
I think I'd rank them like this:
1. Loki
2. Agatha
3. Wandavision
4. Moon Knight
5. Ms. Marvel
6. Falcon and Winter Soldier
7. She Hulk
8. Echo
9. Hawkeye
10. Secret Invasion - DNF
I'm not putting Xmen or What If on there because they're a different thing but I really love Xmen and What If is decent fun.
Which are both witchcraft/magic based shows could tie into the potential tech focused Vision Quest Show
Tough to rank this run of amazing stories. I love them all
Great list. I definitely agree with most of the takes. Loki truly was the best thing to come out from all the shows.
Love your list and analysis, Coy!
Here’s mine:
Loki
WandaVision
X-Men ‘97
Falcon and Winter Soldier
Hawkeye
Moon Knight
Echo
Agatha All Along
Ms. Marvel
Secret Invasion
She Hulk
What If
It’s the way I was so excited to watch moon Knight when it first came out and then each episode I kept falling asleep during.
Wandavision ❤️
LOKI 💚
Agatha 💜
The only series that look like a SERIES and deliver WHAT a series should deliver
1. X-Men '97
2. Loki
3. Agatha All Along
4. Werewolf by Night
5. Moon Knight
6. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
7. What If...?
8. WandaVision
9. Ms. Marvel
10. Hawkeye
11. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
12. Echo
13. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
14. Secret Invasion
I’m aware Loki is more favourited.
great points , particularly connection as we are all becoming " artificially intelligent "
This is why I rock with you Coy! My top are the same.
Where does the werewolf by the night rank?
Here's my ranking (excluding X-men '97 since I thought it wasn't MCU and I'm waiting to finish the original series before watching)
1: Loki
2: WandaVision
3: Hawkeye
4: Moon Knight
5: Ms Marvel
6: Agatha All Along
7: What if...?
8: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
9: Echo
10: Secret Invasion
11: She-Hulk
Here's my MCU show ranking (Seasons separated):
1) Loki S2
2) Loki S1
3) Moon Knight
4) Wandavision
5) Falcon & the Winter Soldier
6) Hawkeye
7) Agatha All Along
8) What If S2
9) Echo
10) Secret Invasion
11) Ms. Marvel
12) What If S1
13) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
8:44 Too relatable, reminded of nightmares when I had to attend meetings on zoom.
I agree with you about She Hulk, though the last couple episodes did not felt enjoyable, I loved the fourth wall break itself. Though the biggest difference between our opinions is on WV, I couldn't sit through more episodes of what felt like an eternity for a reveal that I can see coming from the trailers and Agatha sounds like a fun time but the first episode from what you said reminds me of WV which is a hard climb for me
Pretty good list. My own has a few diferences
1) Loki
2) X-men 97
3) Wandavision
4) What if
5) Hawkeye
6) Agatha All Along (still have to watch the last 2 eps)
7) Ms Marvel
8) Moon Knight
9) Falcon and the Winter Soldier
10) She Hulk
11)Echo
12)Secret Invasion
I watched the last 2 episodes of Agatha all along. I'd put it at 4th place
This list passes the vibe check
My list
Paired off ones I considered at the same level
List goes from low to high
She Hulk / Secret Invasion
Echo / What If…?
Falcon and Winter Soldier / Hawkeye
Loki / Moonknight
Ms Marvel / WandaVision
Agatha All Along
🥇 X-Men '97
I always like your rankings, they're honest and show true love for the comics. Anyway, my ranking would be something like that.
1. Loki
2. Ms Marvel
3. WandaVision
4. Agatha All Along
5. Echo
6. She-Hulk
7. Hawkeye
8. Moon Knight
9. What If?
10. Falcon and the Winter Soldier
11. Secret Invasion
I feel that I have to explain why Moon Knight is so low in my ranking (it would be last if it didn't have Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke creating some magic).
Mine would be:
1. Wandavision
2. Agatha All Along
3. Hawkeye
4. X-Men 97
5. Loki
6. Falcon & Winter Soldier
7. What If?
8. Ms Marvel
9. Moon Knight
10. She Hulk
11. Echo
12. Secret Invasion
Coy you read my mind with this ranking video 😂😂
I think you forgot Luke Cage, Daredevil, Agents of Shield, Jessica Jones, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, and Agent Carter on this list
MCU doesn’t include most of the old marvel to stuff. I think daredevil and punisher are tho
Luke Cage was great
I like this style of video because it feels like the BTS version with the pause between each show that would usually be cut out.
Awesome lists i have the same list as your its perfect loki is my favourite series in marvel❤️🔥
My Disney+ ranking:
1. Loki
2. Moon Knight
3. Ms. Marvel
4. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
5. What If
6. WandaVision
7. Secret Invasion
8. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
9. Agatha All Along
10. Echo
11. I Am Groot
1. Wandavision, 2. Loki, 3. Xmen 97, 4. Agatha All Along, 5. Ms. Marvel,
6. Moonknight, 7. Hawkeye, 8. Falcon and Winter Soldier, 9. She-Hulk,
10. What If, 11. Echo, 12. Secret Invasion
I love you list Coy, even tho u didn't like the show u still watched it and u also gave all judgement with all the elements of the show
But for my personal list is more like
1. Loki 1&2
2. Wandavision
3. Moonknight
4. Agatha all along
5. Ms marvel
6. Falcon and Winter Soldier
7. Hawkeye
8. What If
9. Echo
10. She Hulks
11. Secret Invasion
I'm not rate X-Men 97 on the list, but i love that show, probably at top 3
I always enjoy your lists Coy, thanks. For me personally, Agatha is easily the top marvel tv show of all time (not just MCU…marvel) and it is running away from the pack. Dropping a top twelve list of mine here of MCU shows in my opinion (Netflix Daredevil would be #2 on my list if I expanded beyond official MCU)
1. Agatha All Along
2. X-Men 97
3. Wandavision
4. Loki
5. Moon Knight
6. Echo
7. She-Hulk
8. Hawkeye
9. Falcon & The Winter Soldier
10. Ms. Marvel
11. What If?
12. Secret Invasion
And I genuinely really like all 12 of these. Even the #11 thing on this list is higher on my overall MCU list than like half of the movies.
Great list,i disagree with you somewhere but you got a solid list
"I love that they let native america be a character without being pandering". I agree specially when they switched original powers of Echo from being a mimic fighter qnd basically the counterpoint to Daredevil (that is what brings then together), to be a channel of native american alien energy channeling. 😅😅😅
1. Loki
2. WandaVision
3. Moon Knight
4. X-Men 97
5. Agatha All Along
6. Ms. Marvel
7. Falcon and The Winter Soldier
8. Hawkeye
9. Echo
10. She Hulk
11. What If
Oooo! I did miss the Watcher in the show. I stand corrected.
@@ArtPlaysGames u did miss him but The Watcher also appeared in 2 episodes of the original X-men Animated series too so u could make an argument either way.
Love from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤ Wanda, Loki and Agatha ❤
Bigots seem to think that saying something is bad makes it bad.
Not one thinks about the artistry or writing.
Subjectively and objectively well executed
Loki was good for me later in Season 2. I had to see the redemption arc because that Loki was the one to kill Coulson.
1. X-Men 97
2. Loki
3. Moon Knight
4. Wandavision
5. Agatha All Along
6. What If
7. Ms Marvel
8. Hawkeye
9. Echo
10. Falcon & Winter Soldier
11. Secret Invasion
12. She Hulk
Including Agatha All Along, it sucks that almost all of these shows with the exception of the bottom 2 I would consider “Good, but the ending was meh”.
I really like Hawkeye I don’t have any problems with it.
I’d personally say:
12. Secret Invasion
11. Echo
10. Hawkeye
9. She Hulk
8. Falcon & WS
7. Ms Marvel
6. Moon Knight
5. Agatha
4. What If?
3. WandaVision
2. Loki
1. X-Men 97
X-men 97, Loki, Wanda vision, falcon and winter soldier, moon knight
Agents of Shield is my favorite mcu show
12. Secret Invasion
11. What If
10. Echo
9. Mz Marvel
8. She Hulk
7. TFATWS
6. Hawkeye
5. Agatha All Along
4. Moon Knight
3.5 Wanda Vision
3. Loki season 2
2.X-men 97
1. Loki season 1
Love your list and wish i could break my own down more lol anything top 11 i could rewatch over and over, i think everything bar 12 is great.....
12. Secret invasion (obvious)
11. Echo (really suprised it was so good)
10. What if (season 2 trying to ram home captain carter got old)
9. X/men 97 (love the show just didnt love it as a kid so i had a bit of disconnection)
8. Agatha (the show we apparently didnt want, but the show we needed!)
7. Hawkeye (wouldve been top 5 without the kingpin abuse, im a big netflix daredevil guy and him losing to kate bishop was unacceptable! Lol)
6. Ms Marvel (biggest suprise on the list, she was born for this role!)
5. Wandavision (event tv at its finest, unreal acting, wouldve been top 3 without the ralph bonher joke 😂)
4. She Hulk (i generally found this show hilarious, the daredevil episode might be the best mcu episode of anything tied with ep 7 of agatha, and i loved the 4th wall break finale!)
3. Moon Knight (I'm very much a Moon Knight guy, all that was missing was a more mature tv rating and time with the 3rd personality, need S2 NOW!)
2. Falcon Winter Soldier (Captain America is my guy, i love this show and if the flag smashers where better villians couldve got top spot, John Walker is one of the best new Characters from phase 4)
1. Loki (had to be, both seasons have been unreal, best supporting cast, and the s2 finale sets up everything going forward)
Love the video Coy! ❤

I enjoyed watching this.
