Why do the volume pots have limit LEDs on this version? Has there been updates in the gt1000fx amplifiers?

Heya, i couldn't find anything about it but i was wondering, is it better to link out of your poweramp with jack to a speakon on the cabinet or to just use a jack/jack?

How does this sound with a tube guitar amp? I've got a Laney VC30 and I'd like to replace the speaker. Problem is, only one place in the area (Portland, Oregon) is set up so that you can demo their speakers with your amp and their selection is limited to maybe a dozen speakers. Otherwise, I'm forced to rely on YT demos. My thinking is that a passive FRFR speaker wouldn't color the sound like a regular guitar speaker does. Some people have said that the combination of a tube guitar amp and a FRFR cabinet won't sound good...

Hi guys, I just wondered what amp and cab models you are using in this demo? Cheers Paul

Hi Paul, I'm using either a JCM800+Tubescreamer or Dirty Shirley+Tube Screamer for the high gain stuff (can't remember off the top of my head), Dirty Shirley for the lower gain and a Fender model of some type (probably a twin) for the cleans. I'll have to double check the cab blocks for you when I'm back with my setup. Hope that helps!

Thanks guys, Really like the clean chorus sound you have. I have an XL+ and was thinking of getting a power amp and cab when I get my invite for the Axe III.

Just checked cab blocks - for the gain stuff its a stereo cab block with a V30 (factory 41) and a G12L (factory 35) and for the cleans its two 2x12 cabs (factory 20 and factory 21). Hope that helps Paul!
