Much like a soldier back from war, I feel he suffers from a little PTSD from all the super high risk and expectations he had to deal with. If you've never raced at a high level you probably don't know what I'm saying. Now that he's had some time to decompress, i think his passion will re-ignite and maybe he will do a little of what Villopoto is doing. Any manufacturer would be lucky to have him as a brand ambassador or spokesman. We will always have Toronto 2014!

They definitely need to retire his number from the sport. They'll never be another guy like him and what he did with & to the sport. JS7 for life•JS7 for ever.

With your logic, then #4 should be retired too right?

@@dadlife8289 ......but the subject & video is not about anybody else or another number. Correct?... so why bring that up?.... smh, can We just give James Stewart his time and light to be great. Without trying to subject his moment with other people.
If you care about number 4 then go to his videos and give supportive comments and enjoy his moments. Otherwise nobody cares about or thinking about other riders if the video is only about one person.
And Logically speaking, no it's not the same. They both accomplished alot of great things, yes... But especially in a sport that was against JS7 for the color of his skin. Dealing with all the hatred, people spitting at you at events, even being spit at from people on the sidelines while he was racing as he went by! And then change the sport, techniques, and still win at supercross.... So Logically, Iets just give this man his moments and place in history. Because its alot of racist shit that went on that the sport doesn't talk about now adays or ever mentioned. That's why JS7 gets so much respect from other "numbers" and "the people" because they truly know how it was for him and his family.

@@gobigorgohomeproductions458 .....okay but let's not act as if this sport wasn't against him because the color of his skin. See the sport doesn't mention that. They won't talk about that. But that's why JS7 gets so much respect from so many other riders and the MX community. Because they know how it truly was for him and his family.
The sport wasn't designed or to be in favor of JS7. Let's be honest, the sport was designed and supportive of whites. Dealing with all the hatred, racism, calling him the N-word and people literally spitting at you at events. You dont think that would impact someone's mental health & love for a sport?.... the sport was designed for people like Chad. Not JS7. So yes, it's no suprise that Reed is still racing. But for JS7 to still kill it, change the sport, techniques, still give those that the sport was designed for hell, and still win events. Bro you'll have to be a straight fool to not understand that the game has always been rigged for him. But he still managed to make history thru all the bullshiitt.... That's like saying putting a nascar into a race that was designed for Formula1 cars. And not realizing that the race, the entire estate and its supporters/sponsors were not designed for the nascar to have a fighting chance. So yes Reed is one of the American image of mx, you think they wanted JS7 to ever be the image of the sport. Let's remember who owns all these sponsors. Let's not forget just about every monster model girl is a white women. Let's not 4get the people who owns & funds the USA mx sport and what they look like. You think they look like JS7.??... exactly. Let's be real about our sport bro.
