You definitely are safe as long as your careful and carry some form of personal protection, but everyone’s different and not everyone is willing to protect themselves or their car in a dangerous situation. So it’s all up to what you prefer
Don't purchase unless you have a garage. Also don't buy if it's going to be your only car. If it's your only car then you will stress the fuck out whenever you go out at night and have to park on street. If it's your second car then you can be smart about it.

Had that same system on my 2 door Tahoe for like 6 years. Older model than the t12 but I can get-locate it from anywhere. Had definitely kept it from being stolen. Glad you’re using it as well on the hellcat. Damn good system.
Is the kill switch built into the alarm system or does that have to be added?
I got the T12 / CMX for my OBS Chevy teg cab shortbed. Built a custom system using the Comoustar and the Vais Seer PTS System.
The SEER arms/disarms the Compustar based on proximity. Then I used the trunk release / trunk trigger to open and monitor the flush Toolbox in the bed. And finally I used priority unlock to unlock both doors, and then 2nd Unlock to separately unlock my tailgate, which locks with the system and has a door pin switch to monitor as well.
It's a badass system I put together!

The compustar has a harness that is used to connect the alarm to the harness of the vehicle. From my understanding, they do not splice any wires.

3 things i put on my scatty, farray container for the fob( and yes the container actually blocks the signal from being cloned because my car wont start with it in there) i had installed a neutral strap release plate and i have a wheel lock that i keep connected to the seatbelt clip. also my car is tracked

My 2020 300S Came with LoJack and I have Sirius-XM Guardian, a Kill Switch on the ignition, I have a Fake OBD Port in the Factory Location and I relocated the OBD Port to another location, and I have the Z Automotive Tazer with PIN Lock Activated. I'm thinking about adding Car Lock, an Airtag and the Neutral strap Cover Plate and I will have done all I can to protect and track my ride.

So what the other key does is it grabs the original key signal, encrypts and disables the original key, sends a signal to another device inside the car, talks to the computer and sends another signal back to the Compustar? Correct?
But if they use the tablet device or antenna device will the kill switch work ?
Whats the phone mount you're using? You can also have the brain programmed to allow the EOM fob to activate and disarm etc still.

I'm not getting a Killswitch on mine. Once you cut wiring any electrical issues can be blamed on your killswitch. And the whole car interacts with wiring so you are opening yourself up for a nightmare.

The compustar T13 works the same but. It does not kill my dodge key fob when its armed. Dodge key fob still works the same.

Yes that's correct. But my dodge key is still basically active. I can unlock the doors but compustar alarm will go off.

Depends on the model you get. For the T13 Pro with installation, ran me $1K. Then you gotta pay monthly for Drone mobile. I never used the Uconnect app, but to use the Compustar from the phone you need the Drone app.

No the way the steal the car is they plug into the star connector and program a key within 1-2 minutes. Kicking out your signal and pairing their own key fob.

At least it’s not an easy break in and drive job like majority of the thefts we’ve seen. Anything is up for grabs with a tow truck but that’s just one more vehicle they gotta risk getting shot at trying to steal. If it takes a POS thief to be forced to steal a tow truck then the alarm did its job well

It's too good. If you open the door armed, get in and disarm, it will go off again when you open the door to leave because you didnt really disarm it, you just shut the alarm off, gotta disarm twice for alarm and full disarm, it's annoying! 😅
