I think it would be so fun to see a map of the path the hermits went... like some of them went all the hell over and others just went a little way and stayed.

(He was looking for surface iron, to make a bucket, at the time, but I guess he didn't want to bother anyone about it.) Us TFC fans like that he has proximity chat now and hope he'll be a little less of a reclusive Hermit. ;)

Hey Cub! Longtime viewer here. I remember wayy back before you started Hermitcraft you said something along the lines of "I hate starting over" in reference to what I believe was a question during a q+a at zerzera. Has Hermitcraft changed your view of this opinion?
what a difference when viewing some other hermits from a chaotic start, some wander around goofing about for several hours, others have their skills perfected to the second not wasting any ^^

12:52 it went from the Cub and Ren "rock" to the Ren and Doc Rock, then when all the Hermits showed up, he introduced it as Ren and Cub Rock. My prediction is the final name will be the Ren and Cub Rock. Who cares, right? Ren cares.
@@derrickstorm6976 there has to be some bug with the mansion. I never encountered one since I played in multiple worlds since 1.16 but my 2nd seed with 1.18, I found a mansion near my spawn
@@josiaserad6574 I noticed most of the hardcore world that the hermits played over the break had mansions near their spawns as well. It definitely seems like they made a change so they aren't as far, either intentionally or as a bug.
Okay, Season 9 is already amazing. Never thought you would have a base buddy!!! Ren is a fantastic buddy to base with too. Oh, I cannot wait for the Village of the Rock to take shape. :)

Hey, Cub! I'm sure you already have an idea for your base, but I wanted to suggest to change yours and Ren's Starter Home to a volcanic beach. They have black sand and look really cool.
@@prasadbhalerao8556 In streams between seasons 7 & 8 and 8 & 9 Cub has said, "I don't even know if I'm going to be in the next season." That said, he also seems to enjoy low-key trolling his chat, so I don't know if those were honest expressions of ambivalence, or just him having fun. We all know he enjoys the odd prank, after all!
lol Pooping out eggs! Great first episode to Hermitcraft S9! So much fun seeing everyone together and already plotting out things! The terrain is amazing and such a fun idea to have everyone spawn on at the same time and have no idea what to expect! I love the new rocky shores, so very excited you chose to set up first base there!!
