@@robinhosleftfoot you should be able to lower you car on 18no issues. The car rides and handles better than stock however the springs are a bit stiffer. If you have 18's then you probably have adaptive dampers so the comfort level should be affected too much. The front of the car is low with the eibach pro kit but you can clear most bumps. I don't know whether this would work for the 2020 versions but I coded in comfort plus which even has more burbles. This is happens only when the gear is in manual shift. I also coded in sports plus.

The car is a September 2019 build.
what lowering kit did you use and did you use wheel spacers?
I used eibach springs. The pro kit. Spacers were blox hubcentric spacers
How does it pop and Crackle?
It's just basically bmw software tuning on the 2019 versions. The later versions don't have the same software
