For some reason I like his role as Superman alot it fits him well even the black suit version. He basically proves you don't have to bench 350 and have a linebacker neck to play Superman. All you need is the presence of a good hearted hero.
So the fact that they focused so much on Superman and Lois Lane at the end of this and because it was such a big moment for Superman and Lois Lane that leads me to believe the CW might be thinking of making a Superman series
There's no reason they would focus a lot on Superman and Lois and do something this big with Superman and Lois wait at the end of the crossover unless they were doing something big with these two it just sounds stupid just focus so much on these two even though he's barely gotten much of Superman on supergirl so if we haven't gotten much about them then why Focus so much on these two unless they're planning on doing something bigger
To put it short Superman as been a small in the arrowverse so why Focus more on Superman unless they are doing something big with him
Lois's actress has said there's discussions about it. Doing SUPERDAD with Jon Kent and stuff would be a way to set it more apart from Supergirl too.
I'm thinking that they are setting it up for him to die in crisis of infinite earths so they had to make sure that we were invested in his character ( but hopefully not cause i like superman and his actor)
Some more reasons why I think we might see a Superman series is because Superman as been a small character in the arrowverse we haven't even seen enough of Superman to have an attachment with this character so Clark Kent proposing to Lois Lane seemed meaningless it wasn't beautiful or anything because we haven't seen enough of him so why do something that big unless they are planning something big that will get us attached to these characters which will make the proposal more meaningful
The thing I love about Clark Kent is how he's all innocent and nice but he's actually neither naive or stupid. Superman always sticks to his core morals and tries to do the best he can.

This moment was so beautiful with the Kent's and Lois Lane. Also the Superman II and Superman III with the dinner date and rock crushing turning it to diamond was nice.

@@AnyHero That still doesn't confirm anything with Arrow ending in most likely 2019 I wouldn't be surprised if they are planning on making a Superman series to take over the mantle. After Crisis on Infinite Earth who knows who's going to live and whos going to die but it seems like CW just continues to want to create these Superhero shows. I mean there making a Batwoman show next year why cant Superman be in 2020?

And _Arrow_ is most likely not going to be cancelled in 2019; it will most likely end next season in 2020 as intended by Stephen, the writers, and the CW's president, especially with that deal he made with the *Monitor* that predates next year's crossover

I got say that was really smooth for Superman, he messed up his dinner date with Lois but managed to turn it around into a proposal that she agreed to before he even finished it. He’s Grant Guston who had a few mishaps with his proposal but he turned it around and got a yes at the end. It’s a good ending for a hero in both the real world and the DC world. What do you guys think.

I'm assuming that's the name of their baby, right? I haven't been keeping up to date with the big comic books and I also just haven't read a lot of them in general. Is the middle name "Samuel" supposed to harken back to Clark's real name? Like Samu-El, or maybe just Sam-El, instead of Kal-El? If so, that's kinda cool IMO. I've never really thought about that. Hmm

What Lois said about women responding to stress better and tending to ask questions before fighting may be true but most people know it’s the opposite when it comes to Clark and Kara. Clark tends to hold back more and keep his temper in check.

Hell yeah!!! Superboy is coming 🤯😊 Don’t know when it’ll happen, but I’m calling it right now. Super Sons!! I’ve been waiting for a Superboy (Connor or Jon) since the show started. Plus, with everyone else having sidekicks and partners, I feel like it would be nice for Kara to have one of her own. And who happens to be the same like her. And she’d finally get that second chance to mentor a fellow Kryptonian. IMO. But I have to admit, that attention detail about the danger of the baby kicking Lois. I could be wrong, but I think that did happen in a comic. Or some Elseworlds story.

@@assassinsknight Which is for the better tbh, the proposal scene from the pilot episode of Superman & Lois was MUCH MUCH better than the Elseworlds proposal. Even tho it was only a couple of seconds, the beautifully shot scene that was accompanied by that hopeful soundtrack was just awesome.

Ultimate Wall-Crawler he’s not the man he used to be. He is now older, chunky and doesn’t look the way he did in Smallville. Unless the camera can pull some tricks it would look awkward.
MFF Gameplay He’s not that wide and not too old either. He could still pull it off and he doesn’t need to be jacked. John Wesley Shipp was able to play Jay Garrick and even his own Barry Allen. If is going to be in Crisis on Infinite Earths, I’m sure he’d slim down in preparation for the role.

I think most of you have missed the point at 2:20. Superman has lost his focus and seemed to be pondering over something. What would have troubled his mind this much after the Elseworld crossover? I guess he saw something terrible which is going to happen while he was opening the book of destiny. He might also know what the deal Oliver made with the monitor to save Barry and Kara is.

This crossover felt like more of a backdoor pilot for a new Superman series than a Batwoman series. It falls in line with what happened in the comics. A married Superman and Lois conceive a kid in a place where he's powerless, then they have baby Jonathan and return, raising him on a farm... And if they are doing CRISIS, Superman has to return because he's a big part of that storyline. Which could springboard Clark, Lois, and Jonathon, into their own series. - THey could even do a timey-whimey space travel thing and make the baby a kid when they return to Earth...
This is mind blowing!!! I'm so excited for Clark and Lois right now!
