This is my new favorite build of yours. Narrowly beating out "box to boss." I do agree that a small self built house in the middle might have been more useful. But, i do love that "reclaimed" look of including a existing small house.
@@DarthXionGames I think that is why i like it so much. It reminds me of the efforts to fortify Sanctuary. As a whole and one home at a time. Just on a smaller scale.
This looks like a real Fallout 4 throwback with the junk wall vibes. The majority of your decoration is also 'dark and dirty', which I appreciate is hard to do considering the feeling of newness that a lot of atomic shop items have. Maybe that is also a positive for using the pre-existing structure as opposed to building over the road yourself. Great job.
Holy crap this might just be your best build yet! I love the idea of building onto and fortifying the old houses and other buildings in the wasteland, really plays into the apocalyptic vibe that is rarely seen! It's a shame that the Building system itself is more functionality then creativity, hopefully it'll be something that the mods can expand upon!
@@DarthXionGames honestly, I just want them to open up whatever restrictions they have to where you can build, just let us go wild on Appalachia! Let us fortify everything, or better yet, let us rebuild the wasteland to a better tomorrow!!
I remember, one of my first camp build was this (and it still is) I played from day one, and my camp is still here :] (I didn't copied it, I just placed a garage like yours and I placed near there the mobile home roulotte :)
I've not used that one in a while. I picked it up from Final Render way back. 😊 I've never tried with ramps but I doubt it would work as those basically function much like foundations, and share similar collision properties to those. Stairs are functionally different. If you try it though, let me know how it goes!
@@DarthXionGames will do and will do. thanks for the swift answer :) cant imagine how i missed this trick in a Final render video... must have been a goo while ago. oh well, see you in the wasteland
HEY thats my camp! lol jk.. but i love that space... come check it out Phillip.Cybin on PC.. I had thought about messaging you to show you the FLOORS...now i see your new vid here.. great minds! I honestly think you'll enjoy what I was able to do for Decor on the inside.
A friend of mine told me to consider this spot. I wasn't sure what I could do with it, but now I see it can be made awesome. I don't have all the atomic shop items you do, but I'll figure out something. Where can I get the junk fence plans? I don't think I have them. Were any of the structure items used from the atomic shop?
There are quite a few items from the Atomic Shop in there I've picked up over the last couple of years including the junk fences. The perimeter railings make for a good, non atomic shop starting point though, and some of the other options can be swapped out for regular fences and other base game options. You'll probably have to think outside the box a bit and look for anything large that could form a barricade but it should work. The junk fences will probably make a comeback at some point though, it's been a while since they were last available.
Great build and I really appreciate the single wide gap less stairs trick it does have one issue though the hand holds on the concrete wall are facing the outside so headcanonwise enemies could use those to climb the wall. p.s check out my build at this location on my channel.
Technically, a lot of the junk outside the walls would be bad from a defensive stand point too. It does look good though! Still, they'll have to get up to the wall before they can climb it, and that has yet to happen!
FYI folks, slight change of plan; Today's videos are eating up the day so we'll have to jump back into streaming tomorrow! (I hope 😂).

Thanks!
Doing this makes me nostalgic for repairing buildings in Fallout 4. 😊

It's the sort of thing I did quite a bit in Fallout 4. The glitches there allowed for a lot more flexibility with that sort of thing. 😊

If only. It might cause a few issues when people start building trap rooms on the doorstep to vault 76 though...
@@DarthXionGames PERHAPS WITH THE PRIVATE WORLDS EXPANSION?
I cover any floating isues with the little bushes and it works great.
🤔 hmmm. Now that's an idea...
Love these little tips and tricks for building outside the games paremeters. Good shit. 👍
Looks clutch, my man!
Why thank you! 😎
Really like seeing you build, beautiful stuff every time and I learn cool things too.

nice video i learn a few things i didn't know thanks
sweet! ive not seen that solid steps trick before, thanks for shining a light on it! does it work with the Ramp do you know?

Really nice build but I wish you could move prebuilt structures if it's on your camp and it will reset when you move camps
Awesome!

I wish we had square build areas
Interesting thought. Any particular reason? I don't think anyone's brought that up before. 🤔
Nice build im hoping one day we will get the staircases without the mesh floor
🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏 we can but hope!
They did mention more options for floor textures in the ama so hopefully we'll get there eventually:
I can't get it work on ps4. The roof for the garage won't go on due to clipping issues. I did the same as you but it didn't work out.
You probably need to drop the foundation a bit lower. If the ground won't let you, start with one a bit further back and snap to that.
Can you build a light tower ??greets from germany
