This is one of my favorite silent films- when I watch it, I usually put on some music of the band Dead Can Dance or my favorite, COIL, just like I do when I watch Nosferatu. Great video, as always- your content is a joy to watch. Thank you!
What a wonderful tribute and analysis to the pioneering artists and visionaries who developed this timeless 3 dimensional art and movie sets. Thank you for sharing🤗👍
Having recently re-watched this film, I think that it expressed the main characters descent into madness. As the film progresses, the scenery becomes more and more unsettling.

100 years ago, and the style is still modern and sometimes used today. Tim Burton makes use of this technique in many of his movies.

This was beyond good, 1920s -- if possible, please make something like this a weekly or bi-weekly feature. Truly five-star stuff.
I adore this, well done. Love your channel 👍🏼

Beautiful.
Your videos are too short. That's a compliment cuz I wish they were longer 😭🙏😉
Love your videos, keep up the good work.
Great content!
Wiw, great analysis. Thank you so much for your deep insights.
Can you do a video about science fiction magazines in the 1920s and their contact including reviews and excerpts from readers section
... 'and their contact'?
Great video! 👍 👍 Thanks!
First, I love these!
More controversial than “Birth of a Nation”? Wow!
The Cab of Dr Caligari is one ifa
An amazing film.
I wonder why nothing like it or better than it was made in america considering the claim that the americans could do it better.
