Wow, Ilana - this is very inspiring!! You had a tremendous amount of exposure and responsibility at such a young age. The first takeaway for me is how you handled breaking barriers that women have in the Israeli army. Although your mission was to train pilots to defend your country and come home safe, you learned you had to see the bigger perspective and look at the 3K view for things to become clearer. Secondly, you had to know your audience. I related to your experience with you sensed the feedback you gave to a more experienced pilot was not going very well and how this was a big shift.
