Great tutorial and ideas for use! I have been trying to "train a new model" for month's! I bought 40 minutes of live fretless bass loops and uploaded them into Google Drive, only to get errors in the code concerning the Python version installed on my Windows PC. I spent hours learning how to install the correct python coding to my PC and eventually eliminated ALL the errors; but now it just sits in training mode for hours and the google servers eventually time out... no lovely fretless bass VST produced!?!? UGH! It is truly amazing to me the lack of interest in this online? I am a guitarist / composer; to be able to beatbox in all the funky bass riffs in my head and have them magically turned into a bass track was the dream. So disappointing the developers abandoned the train your instrument feature : ( Thanks for listening. ☮
Glad you enjoyed this one! I'm not sure if you can use this to turn real-time singing into a new instrument for a live performance setting, but it's definitely worth playing around with the platform. Let us know how you get on!
Is it still possible to train new instrument models? Last time I couldn't, there was a bug. I admit to wanting to play the saxophone with my mouth and my own guitar melody
