  • In this video, we go over the entire process of designing and manufacturing a robotic gripper. We used CNC machining to manufacture this metal robotic gripper and had it manufactured and quality controlled through Hubs. We’ll go over the design process, prototyping, ordering, manufacturing, quality control and finally testing the gripper with a motor.
00:00 Intro to this video on a robotic gripper.
00:20 Design process. We begin with discussing the design of the robotic gripper mechanism and what to consider when designing. CNC machining materials, surface finishes, and tolerances will be mentioned.
01:46 Prototyping. After the design stage of the robotic gripper mechanism, we go over the prototyping process in detail. You’ll see the different versions of the robotic gripper we made and what we changed at every stage and why.
06:38 Ordering. In this section, we show you how easy it is to order the parts through Hubs.com
07:44 Manufacturing. The parts are manufactured through our manufacturing partners.
07:51 Receiving the parts. In this section, we have a look at the robotic gripper parts as they arrived from the manufacturer.
08:41 Quality control. After the parts arrive they go through quality control at Hubs. You’ll see that we check the parts visually and dimensionally to make sure everything is ok.
09:22 Testing. In the final section of this video, we check if the robotic gripper mechanism works they way we want it to with a motor.

Yes please more content similar to this; maybe something involving sealing use of o-ring; its selection; choosing proper groove and machining requirements, etc.
