Mackie Thumps 15a ! Still going strong. Speakers are powerful enough for my events. Light enough to throw up super quickly.

Cerwin Vega V31C, 70lbs I think. Oooold school baby! Oh, and some SM15's that doubled as speakers for my van.

We and some friends bought 4 of the B215D's for our senior year in high school (along with some 18" subs). We had no clue about signal gain so we ran these into red pretty often. Blew the compression drivers on all 4. Luckily, that's the cheapest part on the speaker to replace, cost about 40 dollars per and you often end up with a compression driver better than the one behringer put in it.
Soundwise, they are really boomy around 200 hz or so, just due to the design, some speaker fill helps a little, but doesnt fix the issue entirely. The woofer grill is also very ringy so it would help to just put some black tape on the inside of the grill along the edges just so it doesnt ring as much.
I kept 2 of them, still works after 14 years. Sound wise, they're very dry. They play loud, they play clear, but you're not going to impress anyone with them and they fall off pretty hard below 90 hz. With a little EQ, you can make them sound half decent, but these days, even most budget speakers will sound better.
But they're really nice to have as backup because they go loud without being earpiercing, they can go all night and they last half a lifetime.

Hello good evening. I'm an Italian I was looking for information on Benhingher on UA-cam and I saw this video. I own the latest Benhingher model the dsp 115 is my first real dj cabinet and for the price paid it offers a lot. I wanted to know if you are aware or not and what do you think of this speaker. I'm sorry for grammar or eventually mistakes in this message

We actually use them quite often for ceremonies and smaller events. They're not nearly as loud as the B212D or B215Ds. I found them to be a bit bright sounding so I always dial back the highs just a little on them. They're nice and crisp sounding after I do that. I think they're really nice looking as well.
