Thanks for making theses videos! I always enjoy them when watching them. But do what you have to do. As much as I enjoy your content, I want you to stay healthy and happy even more! I think we’ll enjoy whatever you produce when you can produce it.
very glad there are channels like yours that puts use a load of ink just for swatches so I won't have to! haha. Greed looks nice, quite like FWP Age of Aurum that is currently my favorite ink.
Do you have an example of how you use the ink blobs in your journal? Do you write between the inky blobs or put stickers? I'm used to see acetate or cling foil being used with inks, watercolour, water based pens etc so the crumbly plastic bags you use is a nice variation. I liked this new take on 15 inks. Take your time and enjoy the swatching process in your own pace. 😇💜🙏🙌
Very nice and definitely inspiring, thank you. May I ask where you got the cutter for making the little paper rectangles? Also, which onion skin paper do you use?
Here's an Amazon link to the square cutter amzn.to/3Cq39Fe. I'm not sure of the exact brand of onion skin paper as it was given by a friend, but I bought more onion skin paper from Yamamoto at the SF Pen Show.
@@KarynaLovesToPlan : Thank you! I especially enjoyed the way you incorporated the multiple papers by using the cutter and did the Zentangle pieces so fluently. I will be studying those.
So it’s not just my Kaweco that seems dry. I feel a little better. Not that I want you to have a terrible experience….just that it’s confirmation that I’m not imagining it. Haha.
@@KarynaLovesToPlan SO pretty. Hope I can find it. Love all your pairings and the zentangles are such a nice way to show how they work with fine art. I use mine for line and wash. thank you!
I would love it if you could identify whether the inks are waterproof or not… I know some of the inks dry well and are less smeary, but a lot of inks really are not suitable for journals.
@@SandyBanks-vk5dl inks that are waterproof will be labelled permanent or document. I use all the pretty inks in my journals, regardless of whether they are waterproof or not. Most of the inks here are not waterproof.
The spread and the colors together look so satisfying. I love all your videos and I especially love that you bend the rules so they work for you.
Thank you! While I am normally a rule follower, I also want to enjoy my hobbies and I make it work for me! 😊

@@ryanwong9857 thank you so much! I have fun doing these but I can easily push myself too hard to the point of burnout! 🥰
I think the slower pace is much better, because you have the chance to enjoy the ink in the process much more. Lovely pairings as always 😍
@@anitaanglin thank you! It’s nice to get more time to enjoy the pairings!
Loved watching g ploughmans pebble ! It's like a two in one ink, such a dramatic colour shift thank you for sharing ❤
@@pilesofthings it’s so fun to see how it changes. Thank you for watching!
So happy seeing you join! Loving your paper comparison.
@@beliasimm thank you so much! The papers are so fun for swatching!
This is a great idea to do one pen&ink combo for 2 days… much more time to explore. ❤ Gorgeous set of 5, thanks for sharing ! 😊
@@Heidejournal yes more time to explore the combo! Thank you for watching! 🥰
I found if I squish the bag so it is bunched up, i get very interesting ink blots. I haven't tried doing a line of ink to spread like you do.
Yes! Squishing the bag and wrinkling it up is the best way to get the interesting blobs!

I did post a quick flip through of my journal at the end of the video! 😊

Haha yeah my EF feels dry but the Medium had good flow!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Where did you purchase the Robert Oster VanPen 86? I cannot find it. Thanks!
@@slane_design I purchased this from the Vancouver Pen Shop when I was in Vancouver last month.

That pen case you're using? From which supplier is it, please?
That is from Galen Leather!
Where do you get your onion skin paper from? I've bought it from 3 different sellers and each paper is different.
@@shutupandcrochet the one I am using was sent by a friend. I bought more onion skin (which I have not tested yet) from Yamamoto at the SF Pen Show
