I’d actually also love love love to see how you make watercolor paper books - binding. ❤️
I used those tutorial ua-cam.com/video/IAx3eqHkoPI/v-deo.html
So far, gouache in the little pallet and the Daniel smith. Anything with those fancy watercolors. Plus the quill brushes.I’d love to see you a make art with the three colors of pencils and the blenders. Who doesn’t want to see a review of English-made art paper?
And the crayons please!
Excited to see the Grizaye Blender reviewed!
Grizaye Pencils and Blender is intriguing. Have always wanted to try that approach. Also, the new Pretty Excellent paints.
I use the same square small Talens art creation as my 'take with me to wherever' sketchbook. I have different sizes as well. They're the most affordable yet sturdy sketchbook I've come across. Their art creation collection has been around for years accross Europe, maybe it's relatively new in the U.S.?
Here in the Netherlands, Royal Talens products are the most accessible by far (which makes sense). Art creation's watercolor paint is technically classified as more of a 'hobby/kids' category, not even a student grade.
After drug store watercolor, I started with Van Gogh, and I know that other student grades won't live up (I was honestly dissapointed with cotman).
Sorry, I'm rambling. But art supplies make me want to infodump and I love that Royal Talens is a Dutch company/brand with such good products and reputation (also love your appreciation for rembrandt lol)❤
I'm most interested in seeing the new Sennellier Petit Aquarelle, and the Meilang watercolours, those two sets are both on my radar for a possible future purchase (if they're still good)
Will do!
I agree.
Agree.❤
Me too
Mei lang 36 or phoenix 48 half pans?
Ohhh! These all look so fun! I would like to see the new Paul Rubens dual color acrylic markers, perhaps in the art creations sketchbook! Thank you!
Just wanted to say thank you. I'm s post some time ago I mentioned I have the Steadler water soluble crayon. I mentioned I couldn't decide if I wanted to get more of those or give the mungyo a try. You told me to go with the neocolor II because they wild be more enjoyable to use. As usual, you were 100% correct. Thank you.
I am so glad you like them! They are a fave!
Looking forward to the brushes demo, as well as the Daniel Smith gouache swatching.
Me too
the grizaye burnisher would be interesting to me. I've done 3 of their projects, one with prismacolor pencils and the last two with their new grizaye pencils (in my opinion much better than prismacolors). In the kits you get a large sheet of Legion paper printed in gray scale the photo of your choice, also included are several full color photos to use as guides. You can order the kit with or without the pencils.
I haven't tried the burnisher yet, so would like to see how well it works.
Soo many interesting things but definitely would love to see a review of mijello gouache espacially since it's dry! Also I adore the palette it came in! I would love to see a comparison for the mini Sennelier palette and the artist Sennelier paint if possible 😊
Excited about the Rosa dot card and those Grizaye pencils!
So many options, top 3. Number 1 would be the acrylic markers. just bought myself a generic brand (not posca) to test out and would like to see what you can do with them, how well they work, what paper best etc. 2. Then interested in the sketchbook and can it handle markers and various mediums etc. 3. the burnishing pencils - how well they do with different brands of pencils. have fun! look forward to any reviews you do.
I'm also very interested in the Grizaye burnish/blender but also curious about the colored pencils, great price right now. Also interested in the pen clip. I make decorative note pads and always looking for a way to attach a fun pen I include, I've never seen anything like this before.
The clips are great!
I’m also extremely excited to hear and see more about your handmade sketchbooks!
I think the Grizaye review would be interesting :)
I'm curious about the sticker paper! It'd be a fun way to share art with friends if they look decent. I'm also interested in seeing more of the acrylic pens in action and how they differ from the pens you need to prime.
That's a great idea!
Love seeing this quick tour of all these supplies. I’m an overview/quick-take person….as long as there’s a link where I can check something out, then I’m good. Yes…Van Gogh wcs are a great value! I have the set of their pinks & violets! Really nice!
This is a great hall. I'd love to know more about the markers, sketch book, gouache, crayons. Everything still learning the basics. Thank you for sharing.
The brushes and meilang watercolor set and the weird gouache/acrylic (?) markers are what caught my interest. Thank you.
Really looking forward to the Artegria brush review. I have been looking at them on Amazon and wondering how they are.
I will do them soon!
Thanks for the reviews Lindsay! 🫶🏼 I’m curious about most of these but would especially love to see the Paul Rubens acrylic markers, Daniel Smith gouache, the new Pretty excellents, and Acuma watercolor and mixed media pads. So, a lot 😅
OK. Just bought the 2 pack watercolor pallets. :) Thanks for the heads up! Always looking out for us..
You are so welcome!
I’d like to know about the grizzle pencils and blender. Look interesting. Thinking about buying them>
Coming soon!
Definitely the sennelier watercolors!!
Nice haul Lindsay! I use those clear pencil cases too. The A4 size is perfect for my watercolor pad, a few brushes, a small spray bottle, a towel, fine liner pens and after all that, I can still squeeze in an Inktense pan set AND my small palette of Mijellos!
Thanks for sharing!!
the gouache in the pallet that doesn't dry! and the updates on the new formulas (pretty excellent- i bought that new one)!
I just got a 30 pc set of those clear mesh bags from Amazon for a great price too! I love em❤ Courtney
I finally got some time to finish watching this valuable vid. The products I'd most like to see reviewed are the 1) Stoneground Paint Co paints, 2) the Paul Rubens Acrylic Markers - the first set shown, and 3) the Daniel Smith extra fine Gouache. I appreciate all you do in getting useful information about products to us.
The Dan Smith gouache and Paul rubens marker reviews are already up on my channel. I hope you enjoy them!
@@thefrugalcrafter Found them! I've been holed up away from home due to water damage and not kept up properly. Thank you very much!
Wow! So many cool art supplies! I want you to review all of them!!!! The quill brushes are tops on my list. I have a set coming that you recommended prime day.
Great idea!!
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a lot of fun items. I’m most interested in the Arteza H2O markers, Arrtx pastel alcohol markers and Meilng 36 watercolor set.
I love my pretty excellent watercolour set. I bought it last month as you recommended it before, and it's my best palette! I'm a beginner though, so no expensive artist grade ones yet 😊. I chose this one with the pans so I could rearrange the colours and it came with some brushes for the same price as the old version, so I think it was a great deal. ❤
Did you get it with the rebranded meilang? Or pretty excellence? I can only seem to find it with mei lang
@@StephanieLMedina89 mei lang
I totally agree!
Nice haul! I would like to see how the pretty excellent are now. I have loved the set from when you first reviewed them and would like to get a back up set. Thank you Lindsay!
Everything looks interesting, um the Sennelier paints would be nice, let’s be truthful I watch all your reviews you could review newspapers me I would watch, I know what you review is honest and I like the way you review.
Such a fun video!!! Im excited to see a real-time swatching video of the Rosa Gallery. And a real-time swatching of the Sennelier petite, a real-time swatching video of the Pretty Excellent paint and the mission gold gouache! Lol I love real time swatching. I'm also really interested in seeing what the brushes are like- including the ones you mentioned in the video that you haven't received yet. A video of you filling and swatching the wooden palette would be awesome. I'd be interested in seeing the watercolor paper and the burnisher colored pencils as well. Heck pretty much everything in this video looks amazing! Lol.
Summer are really busy for me so I'm not able to binge Art youtube like I love during the days ....this was a fun video to welcome me back to art youtube today. Great video, as always, Lindsay! Much love! I can't wait to start binging your channel again!!! ❤❤❤
O shoot! I forgot, I really want to see the Daniel Smith Gouache as well! ❤
Looking forward to your review of the updated Pretty Excellent watercolors and also the crayon comparisons.
Coming soon!
Hope you have fun with the Stoneground paints!!! I have yet to even touch mine!!!❤❤❤
I hope so too!
I would love a review of the Stoneground metallic paint, the Paul Rubens acrylic markers and the Artegrea synthetic squirrel brushes, please. I'm NOT sure I want a review on the "Pretty Excellent" watercolor paints because I already bought them...and haven't used them (par for the course!)...and they have the new packaging. Ruh-roh! 😂 I love that you take the time (and money!) to update old product reviews. Super helpful, Lindsay! (P.S. It's also a perfect excuse for buying highly rated products RIGHT AWAY before they change the formulation! You enabler, you. 🤣)💛💛💛
Lol, I hope they are still good!
Oooo, the Paul Rubens paint pens!
I was JUST looking at that set of pastel artxx markers! Can't wait for the review of those. Also excited to see your thoughts on the Art Creations sketchbook. I've used two and I didn't like the sizes I chose but the paper was decent.
Coming soon!
Looking forward to your vinyl sticker printable review!
Can't wait!
I am looking forward to seeing the sketching set and the mission gouache. Actually all of them of course but those are the ones I'd like to see first 😆
Coming soon!
I’m voting for Stonehenge and the tiny square sketchbook
Love this art creation sketchbook. It is cheap, surprisingly well holds watercolor, which makes it very low pressure for me.
I’m looking forward to the brushes review👏🏼👏🏼
Me too!!
Please review Pretty Excellent watercolors to check quality! Thanks, Lindsay, you're the best to help all of us in our choices!!
these p.r. markers look fun, love the transparent package
It's very handy!
@@thefrugalcrafter ah your reviews make buy all sort of supplies :) but I love them anyway
I look forward to hearing your review on the Pretty Excellent watercolors even though I just ordered some. I couldn't wait.😅
Hope you enjoy it!
I am most interested in seeing the new Sennelier Petit Aquarelle and the Meilang watercolors. The watercolor postcards also look interesting. Thank you.
Ooh! The Arteza markers, the acrylic markers, and the Grizaye blending items are the ones I would love to see first. 😊
I'm interested in the acrylic markers (first set, where 2 colors are noticeably different).
Oohhh looking forward to seeing so many of these products on your channel, and love that you are reviewing a Spanish product ;-) I did not know those brushes.
I got the other set in the mail and they look really good!
I’d love to see the brushes and the Sennelier and Mei Liang watercolours first please! But I’ll watch any of the other things as well
You remind me of a dear friend. Energizer bunny! Love it!
😊 thank you
I have those brushes that you ordered, I can’t wait to see what you think about them! The D.S. Gouache dries well and rewets easily! I have to get with you, I have the other colors for you. You got me on the wood palettes, I want to send one as a gift too and the price was perfect, that and those clips 😍 I will be giving some away but am excited to have a few for myself soon as well! Great stuff coming, can’t wait to hear your opinion on the brushes, I also got the two quills and the round tube with the variety of sizes. Enjoy the weekend!
My grabie quills came last night! Can't wait to try them!
@@thefrugalcrafter looking forward to hearing how you like those too!
I can't wait for ALL the reviews!😆
Especially the quill brushes. The sketching pencils look interesting too.❤
Just want to let you know, the link to the sponge covers brings up the white gouache.
Oops! I'll have yo fix that!
I can’t wait to see see see all of it! Lol I’m interested mostly in seeing how you get around the issue of the ink in the printer not being waterproof. I’ve tried laminate sheets, sealing sprays and invisible ink top layer to seal in ink but I haven’t found a solution yet. I purchased a Cricut to cut sticker designs for sale but production came to a screaming halt. The laminate sheet peels away in the rain and then the ink washes away too. I was looking to make bumper stickers or water bottle sticks so waterproof is a must really. I know you can figure this out and help us all!
I think it has a coating to lock in the ink like some photo papers do.
Yes please do the Sennelier 36 WC, and the acrylic pen sets first. Thanks Lindsay!❤😊
You got it!
Definitely the brushes and the senniler paint interests me
Oh geeez, Lindsay!! How can I pick??? I’ve gone to Mission Gold, so wow love to see the gouache! Sketch pencils look fun! Crayons look fun! Love those wooden palettes!!! Heck…! Do them all!!
Excited for it all! 😂 🎉🎉🎉
Thank Goodness for a Lindsay review video..well sneak peak! Feels like Xmas, Thanks
My pleasure!
Would love to see a review on the acrylic markers
Hmm... Picking one thing is too hard so here are my top ones in no particular order...
Acuma Crafts watercolor & multimedia paper
Grizaye pencils and blender
Mijello Mission Platinum/ Daniel Smith gouache
Looking forward to seeing how you like everything you haven't already tried in you 'box of goodies'.
Yes to the artist crayons and the stoneground metallic paints.
Oh so much good stuff!! I'm really interested to know about the mijello gouache. Also all the watercolours (the senellier ones and alll the others too!), the UK watercolour paper and the acrylic markers! How do they compare to arrtx/which do you prefer? Thanks! 😊
I would love to see the Sennellier Petite Aquarelle. Pretty please 😃
I’m interested in the Paul Rubens acrylic marker sets.
I have the new half pans of Mei Liang Pretty Excellent and I think they are still of the same quality but they did rename of of the paint on the swatch card but not on the paper wrapped around the pans, which is fine by me as I was already use to the old names. It really is my most favorite watercolor palette. So I'm curious to see if you think the quality is the same! I'm also super excited about the all brushes you mentioned. I so bad wanted to order the red quill brush set on Amazon prime day. They were like 50% off, but with the budget cut we have to make I just couldn't buy them. So I'm super excited to see that review and if their worth it I can save up for them and wait for another sell. I could kick myself for not buying the mission gold set when on sell, but how much paint does one need...lol! I love your reviews so informative and entertaining!! Thanks for sharing!
What a big box of fun!! I wanna see it all! Lol I always love the crayons, even thou I don't need any more...
So enjoyed the unboxing! Fun to have you share a little about the different products.
Thanks for watching!
Ooh, can share your process for making the stickers it you decide to make them, please.
Also, now I want to shop. Lol.
Yes of course!
I would love to see the new Pretty Excellent watercolors and theNiji crayons.
I’m excited to find out what you think of the pretty excellent, if they are still as good, I’ll be getting some….. thanks 👍
So much to choose from but would like to c the 2 sets of duo colored acrylic markers.
Ooh, lots to look at here. Really interested to see what you make of the Art Creations sketchbooks. I've several of the sizes now and they can definitely take a bit of mixed media. The a4ish one is my fav. The Sakura sketchbooks seem to be the same thing branded differently. They've helped me whittle my many sketchbook habit down to two. These and an Etchr for heavier watercolour cover all my bases 😊.
Will be excited to see the Mijello gouache too. Tried to source the Mission White class back along but were never in stock. Adore their watercolours.
Hi Lindsay! So many fascinating goodies! I would like to see the new 66 ,Artex Pastel alcohol marker set, the Stoneground metallic water colors, the 36 set of Sennelier watercolors and the Acuma Crafts mixed media paper. Would this paper drain alcohol markers too fast? Thank you for this opening package experience. It was exciting and fun!
Oooohhh there are so many goodies here. I’m curious about the Art Creations sketchbook, I’ve seen lots of YTers using that and I d like your take. Sennelier La Petite Aquarelle and the acrylic markers look interesting. I was thinking about those arttx markers just this morning, so would be curious how they compare. I notice that the Cobalt blue gouache is crawling out of the Mission Titanium palette- that one color was so soupy when I poured it out - it might never dry! They do contain honey.
Love to see a review on the Sennelier La Petite Aquarelle thank you Lindsay.
Coming soon!
I didn't know there were so many options for crayons currently?? 😮 what a great haul!
Please please review the art of soil's tiny miniature palettes, they look like a blast
OH WOW Arts to embers is GREAT
Ooh! Looking forward to
1. the Stoneground mica watercolors
2. the Niji Artist Crayon maybe power pastels
3. the Mijello Mission Platinum/ Daniel Smith gouache
and then the watercolor brushes and the 2 watercolor palettes you’ve reviewed before. I’m also curious if they’re still good, or if they have been downgraded like the Cotmans.
I am curious too!
Same as above plus both sets of the acrylic markers.
I love my stoneground paints, I have quite a collection. It’s so great having a Canadian company making watercolours.
I’d love to hear what you think about the Mijello gouache. I bought them on Amazon a couple weeks ago for $134 and was going to tell you about them soon after but saw they were not available anymore 😕 I’m so glad you are going to be able to try them now!
BTW~MG Cobalt Black is on back order now 😭
I would love to see a review of the Stoneground paints that are made in Canada. As a Canadian, I'm really curious. Lol
Love to see a review of the Mijello Titanium Gouache!
Coming soon!
Meiling paint. I love my older ones so before I reorder it will be good to hear your thoughts.
I would love to see how you make sketch books with different types of paper.
I used this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/IAx3eqHkoPI/v-deo.html
@@thefrugalcrafter OH! I'll give it a go!
I'd live to hear your take on the Stoneground metallic watercolors & the Swisscolor wax pastels. ... Bottom line, I value EVERYTHING you chose to review!
Will do!
I’m looking forward to these reviews: Artegria quill brushes, the DS and Mijello gouache reviews (I could feel your sentiment about the taking the time to squeeze fresh gouache from the tube at a soul level) and the Royal Talens Art Creations sketchbook review. Also, nice TARDIS!
I'm just saying hello. Hope the weather isn't too unbearable where you are. Take care and God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
@@beckyb4074 Hi, Becky! We’ve had a lot of rain recently, but the poor air quality is still troubling. Hope you’re well. ☺️
@@apocalypse_frau I'm doing fairly well but getting better. The poor air quality is because of the fires in Canada huh? Pretty hot and humid here but I'm in the southwest side of Arkansas. Would be nice if we could email/penpal with each other, but don't know how we could exchange email addresses. Take care and God bless you. Becky B
Not that I need anymore markers...but the Paul Ruben two color markers look fun. I am also very interested in the paint brushes and the Mission paints.
I love the Art Creations sketchbook, but they are what they are...which is low-grade paper with low preciousness. I find myself reaching for them instead of the better sketchbooks I have. I bought one of the Kraft-covered ones and painted it with acrylic paint. It's so fun. I'll never buy the colored ones now. You don't have to worry about re-wetting the DS gouaches. They're the best re-wetters of all of the schmantzy gouache brands. Winsor Newton is worst...for the colors I use anyway. Can't wait for your reviews.
I’m most interested in seeing the gouache and I had no idea Mission even had gouache, so specifically that one!
Will do!
I just bought that same sketch book! 😆
Like the Mijello Mission Titanium palette. Review please. OOOOOHHH and the Paul Reubens acrylic markers!!!!
Looking forward to seeing thr mijello and the daniel smith gouche reviews. Ive been wanting to make my own sketch book and bought a coptic stitch kit from lineco that im comtemplating using arches paper in place of the paper that was provided in the kit. Id love to see you making sketch books if you were interested in filming it. I definitely need some guidance on how to do it well.
This is the tutorial I used: ua-cam.com/video/IAx3eqHkoPI/v-deo.html I don't think I'll make one. There are lots out there.
some fun stuff here, thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it
Really interested in the Paul Rubens acrylic markers!
Also, please review the art creations sketchbook! I've been considering getting it. Also, I'd love for you to compare it with the Michael's brand sketchbooks that look very similar. They also come in fun colors and are very affordable. I got a 4"×4" for like $3. They come in multiple sizes and styles of binding, so it would be cool to see you try them.
They seem quite similar and have really good reviews!
I will have to go to michaels and get one, that's a great price!
I love my artegia brushes
Wow fun! Thank you💕 the mesh bags are great! Love the wood palette too. Crayons 😅💕 the gouache. Art x pretty pencils 💕 looking forward to DS gouache. I’ve wondered about art creations sketchbook. Looking forward to your thoughts. Pastel markers 😅💕 (no words😂). The clips are great! Thanks so much for finding such great stuff at great prices💕
You are so welcome!
I’m really looking forward to the gouache reviews. I would also love to know which gouache brands can be used in a palette like that. I tried to make a dry gouache palette and they all cracked and flaked out of the wells. 😊
