- thumb is more adducted
-Easy to achieve
-Can be achieved through tenodesis and just wrist muscle activity
- wrist thumb and forearm should be aligned
3. Tenodesis 4:45
-active wrist extension
-uses passive tension of extrinsic finger flexor to close the finger
-passive flexion allows fingers to open
