I have a 2020 Pioneer 700-4, and live in the mountains of WV. I use it every day (even if just to get the mail), and absolutely love it. It fits down the wooded trails without problem, and crosses rivers with the best of 'em too.
I have 2020 700 4 and a 17 p 500 love both. Everyone that sees them wants one plus that Honda reliability.

The trick is to go to places less rural. Up north or down south they are popular. Where I’m at not many trails big enough so people prefer quads. Honda shop in Vinland nj is fully stocked with line up from p520 p 700 4 p1000-5. And a couple talons.

I wonder how the reliability will be. transmission seems complicated
Worst transmission out there! Shifts like crap when cold and has no comparison to a smooth CVT !
@@andrewbalcom8081 I have a 2023 and it shifts just fine, better than a CVT that's prone to slipping and belt breakage
Belts arent just “prone to slip and break”… it can happen… yes… but its not like you cant properly maintain it…. Its behind a simple cover… with a gasket… just keep it dry…. Its a proven design that has been used for years….
Gears on UTV however, arent tried n true…. They are actually ONLY on honda,.. and one yamaha… for racing…. And that being said, do you see all the companys switching..? No… because this is only for the fanboys who think CVT is prone to slip.
Thankfully honda has made plenty of transmissions for many different kinds of vehicles.
@@Synic08😂 Yamaha xyz is not belt, new can ams not belt…. Can am and Polaris are. Heading in the dct direction.

They are noisy and shift hard and the 700 the rear diff is little noisy but honda is the only side by side making an actual gear transmission every other side by side is a CVT w belts that break. So the pioneer is supper reliable. And my option of the noise is it’s a ATV not a Bentley. I prefer reliability when I’m deep in woods then comfort. I have a pioneer 500 and a 7004. Feel like I don’t need 2 but they both are great machines and have their uses. 700 is 59” wide and the 500 and 520 are 50” wide.
