The 700 is doing good as long as you can keep the wheel speed up. The only thing is having room and enough power for larger tires. The 1000 has the power ,but you have to be careful not to stay on the throttle when the wheels are not spinning, it will smoke the clutches.
You dont know what you talking about. You will smoke your tourqe converter not only does the 1000 have 40 more hp it has a low gear while you only have high gear.
Is it me or does the 700 lack a proper 1st gear? Looked weak in that hole. @5starstupid hows the pioneer been so far? Im in the market for a utv and trying to get some feedback
The 1000 is so much more powerful keep it in low drive 15 mph like you are now and stomp it to 33 mph wont have any trouble turning those tires in that sand. Or 32.5
Facts he made himself get stuck in that little tiny hole all he had to do was back up farther and gun it out instead he wallerd the hole till bottomed out
Yeah he's gotten better now, but it was a learning curve for him. Also I think he was a little hesitant due to it being brand new at the time. Now he's sunk it a few times and has better tires so he goes alot farther. Need to make a new video.
700 is very disappointing no power I have one for work and have to get winched up the hills in WV were other sxs drive up with no problem, no room, no low range, only a 3speed transmission that shifts when it wants which is not good on a hill or in the mud super loud and slow
What else are they using out there for work? Was looking at the Honda but I'd like to know what is making the hills that the Honda doesnt. Thanks for the help!
@@jbeerailroader6100 I was going to say... I ended up getting the Pioneer 500 for the width restrictions and portability (truck bed), and I haven't found anything I couldn't climb yet. I've also pulled trucks and other utvs out of mud with it. That's something to say about having a real driveline instead of a slip-prone rubber band. That being said, it's definitely utility. If I was getting something for run and jump, I wouldn't mind the other so much. (although the Talon still has a real driveline). 😂 😂 😂
I have a 2017 700-4 and have taken it to 4 mud parks so far. They’re correct that they lack power BUT you have to know how to drive it. I went to Sabine atv park in Texas recently with 3 guys who have Polaris and Canam bikes to see if I can keep up. I told them to take lead and take me where you think I’ll get stuck in. They took me to mud holes they struggled in and watched me keeping the gas pedal to the floor the whole way, mud flying, going sideways full speed, and made it out every time. Out of all holes they took me through, I’ve only gotten stuck once. One buddy who rode with me to see how my Honda handles, he said “I rode with plenty of friends and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had and this machine scares the shit out of me.” The main key of how to use the 700 right is when in doubt, throttle it out. They all thought twice when talking shit about my side by side because when it comes to mud, I don’t play. Haha!

The deluxe gives you manual mode and I think that's what's makes the difference in the 700's
